Because of my work, I travel a lot and stay in many hotels, usually in the higher category. I chose Hotel Strandleben rather by chance for one night, as it was on my way north — and I have to say, I’ll remember the place and its atmosphere for a long time, and I’d love to come back. The whole hotel, its location, the interior, the cleanliness… everything is tasteful, practical, and comfortable. For me, a true gem — and autumn in Schleswig is simply magical.

Boasting scenic views of Schlei fjord on the Baltic Sea, this hotel is located directly at the yacht harbour of Schleswig, just a short walk from the town centre, Gottorf Castle and the St.
