United KingdomLoved this place! The staff were super friendly, and the room was gorgeous. I loved the rich greens and sort of steam punk vibe in the room. The kitchenette in the room was well-equipped (full stove with pots and pans, which I used), and full-sized dishwasher. Drip coffee machine, but that worked fine for me. The separate bedroom was *so* quiet, with plenty of pillows. The shower was luxe with multiple pressure settings. My room also had a sauna but I didn't try it out. Bike storage in the basement so I could keep my rented bike out of the rain. The location is right near the center of town (but off the main drag) and near to restaurants and a grocery store. This is definitely a place that you can settle into for a week on the coast. Planning a return trip in the summer.

GermanyThe apartment was great and spacious. It had a delightful view and the pool added to the comfort. Having kids, there was a playground next to the hotel as well as a massive chess set to keep the kids entertained.

We are delighted with this place in every way. The rooms are clean, cozy and modernly furnished, with attention to every little detail. The cosmetics in the bathroom were of high quality, with a very pleasant smell. Additionally, slippers and bathrobes await guests, which is nice. The hotel itself is located about 300 meters from the beach, next to the park. The hotel has a very good restaurant, as well as a sauna and gym. The service is nice and very helpful. It was important to us that the hotel has its own parking lot, as well as the possibility of booking a pet-friendly room. Our dog received bowls, a treat, and a map with the nearest beaches available for animals for the duration of his stay. As for the breakfasts, they were perfect, made from the highest quality ingredients. They would definitely delight even the most demanding people. We were also surprised by the wine given to us on the day of departure. We will definitely return to this place more than once (especially for a longer stay) and we will recommend it to all our friends. It is ideal not only as a stopover on a journey, but especially to relax here for a few days.

Good for a Short Stay
The overall experience was satisfactory, although the arrival process could have been smoother. Check-in took quite a long time, and the staff had difficulty finding my reservation, which was particularly tiring after a long journey.
The wellness area was decent and reasonably well maintained, provided you do not have very high expectations. The hotel has more of a large spa resort or sanatorium feel, which may suit some guests, but it is not a place where I would personally choose to stay for an extended period.
The room was rather old-fashioned, and both the furniture and equipment showed their age. However, everything was clean and well kept, which helped make the stay comfortable overall.

This is a stunning place . which i would highly recommend to everyone brilliant parking the room are really stunning with a sea view my room was massive with a balcony the staff are are brilliant here. the breakfast was amazing in the would be first class . In the summer what a place.

The city of the seven towers - so many interesting churches,...
The city of the seven towers - so many interesting churches, each with a story to tell. The Church of the Holy Spirit, St Mary's and the Dom were possibly my favourites. The community garden outside the Church of the Holy Spirit was both inspirational, showing how an empty concrete space can be transformed, and a joy. Sights aside, it's a city to wander around and enjoy the architecture. We also had time for a couple of art galleries including St Annen which alongside its religious and modern danish art had an installation of helium filled penguins which brought a smile while highlighting the dangers of climate change. Final visit was to Willy Brandt House which is an interactive very informative display of his life.

We just stayed overnight before catching the ferry to Oslo so didn’t have much time to explore Kiel. But the hotel was ideally located - just literally a few minutes away form the Color line terminal, was very comfortable with private parking, and extremely helpful receptionist.

I recently stayed at Bellevue in Timmendorfer Strand and had a mixed experience.
On the positive side, the hotel is very clean and well organized. The overall environment feels structured and efficiently run. Breakfast was genuinely good, with a solid variety and quality that met expectations. The staff are clearly well trained—professional, consistent, and precise in their service delivery.
However, the service felt overly scripted and somewhat robotic, lacking warmth or flexibility. This seems to reflect a broader issue with management style, which comes across as quite rigid and inflexible.
There were also a few details that detracted from the overall experience. The absence of a water boiler in the room is inconvenient, especially for a hotel in this category. The 11:00 check-out feels unnecessarily early and adds pressure to the departure experience. Additionally, charging €2 for basic, single-use plastic slippers feels unnecessarily petty and gives off a cost-cutting impression that undermines the hotel’s positioning. By the way I booked the best room, suite, paid 1000 euro for 3 nights and they charged me 2 euro for slippers. Looks cheap on the hotel side.
Overall, the hotel may appeal more to an older clientele who value structure and predictability. For families or guests looking for a warmer, more flexible atmosphere, it may not be the best fit.

Sea front and beach.
Sea front and beach. It's the North Sea though so tends to be windy and big waves.
Lots to enjoy in the rest of the island, picturesque sand dunes and heathland, little ports List and Hornum. Nice museums in Keitum.

I thought Büsum was a beautiful place to spend your vacation. Not only were there various things to do, but there were excellent restaurants, cafes, etc. Shopping was very good as well. But most importantly, one could relax and enjoy a pleasant experience on the beach.

This is not a city overwhelmed by tourism.
This is not a city overwhelmed by tourism. It is a working city that welcoms visitors. It is important to learn about the history of Flensburg and its role in commercial shipping. Admire the skill of the boat designers and builders, and the contemporary effort to continue the craft.

It was great for eating and drinking - everything from cafes to restaurants.
We came to eat fish and were well-pleased.
Everything was an easy walk away. There are also 2 local stations and several bus lines with regular services.
The ferries across to the Priwall side of the river were covered by the Deutschland Transport Ticket.

We came for the Ostsee in Flammen Fireworks and that was spectacular and well organised and we had a Strandkorb on the beach to watch life and the amazing fireworks which was great.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, clean room and good location for the ferry to Denmark.
Not much in terms of food and drink in the immediate vicinity but the Beltbude on the Beach to the West is worth the hike. Closes at sunset.

Go up on a lovely narrow cobblestone alley just to find a puppets museum at the top cuddling under the arm of a church. With puppets moving and waving at you from behind a window you might think you arrived in a magical place. This is just my most precious impression of Lübeck.. and of course Nosferatu watching from the window while you drink you evening tea :)
