IrelandThe staff are very friendly, super welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Great selection for breakfast, all freshly prepared and tasty. I especially like the 'Husumer Pannfisch mit Salat' for evening dining in the restaurant. A great location in the centre of Husum - beautiful shops nearby and the beautiful Schloss Garten is only a 2 minute walk away - ideal for an uplifting walk before breakfast. I have stayed here many times and will be back 🥰

SwitzerlandLocation and building with their more than 140 year history are stunning. The wooden staircase in the old part of the hotel is phenomenal. The interior was preserved really well and you get an idea of how it was to be a student at this former school back in the 1880's. Staff was friendly, breakfast buffet more than sufficient. Parking is on the premises and really cheap.

It is a super small town so I would say 1 day is enough.
It is a super small town so I would say 1 day is enough. We were lucky there was a festival going on otherwise it is really a place to chill and relax providing good weather. It rained and we had the dog so we couldn't go to many places but our trip was chill relax eat and hygge so this was what we felt.

Husum is not very large, but large enough to provide...
Husum is not very large, but large enough to provide everything you need. There are good public transport links to many places, at least 3 large supermarkets, a local market on certain days, and plenty of cafes and restaurants. The little harbour area is lovely to walk around.

Welcoming atmosphere, perfect location to see the beautiful area next to the North Sea by train from Husum. They arranged my check-in even though I arrived late. They have well-equipped, modern bathrooms, and a social space with a kitchen.

The bed was fine, the shower was fine, the room was small, but okee for one night, the temperature was nice, the window could be opened! The breakfast was very nice. We could park the car, which was fine!
