Cham is a good place to go to see historical Regensburg for...
Cham is a good place to go to see historical Regensburg for the whole day, and the other day a historical centre of Cham-Janahof was also nice to go through. This hotel is a bit in the middle of nowhere, though there is no problem to reach it by car - some 5 km in the village close to Cham.

The town of Cham looks like a typical Bavarian town, everything very neat, but it does not seem to have very much to offer.
Its surroundings are really stunning, with the Bavarian forest and lots of scenic roads nearby.

Hotel is very nice, in the town center. There is free parking in the front of the hotel. Staff was very friendly and smiling. I got free upgrade for double room! WoW! It doesn't happen to ofen those days. BIG THANK YOU! Swimming pool on the roof of the hotel was great and there was also relaxation area, so you could enjoy the sun and fresh air after swimming. There were few types of sauna (included in the price). Room was spacious and comfortable bed.

This has probably been one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Professional, friendly and clean. The owner and son make a point of greeting you which is pretty rare but makes you feel so welcomed. The reception team and the staff in the restaurant provided excellent customer service and were always available to assist wherever they can and with a smile.

Breakfast is good and varied. The room was clean and comfortable. The receptionist was very nice e and helpful. Our friends stayed in another hotel and came to get us every day, the location is not so good if you haven't got a car.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area, close to Cham. The couple who runs the hotel is really helpful and breakfast is 5*.
