Good geographical location, excellent parking opportunity.

Relaxed, friendly welcome. Typical Franconian hospitality with good food - and excellent beer.

Everything is fine and clean. Free parking.

Nice hotel with great value for money. Pet-friendly (for an extra fee), large free on-site parking, clean and cozy rooms. The city center is very close — only a 5-minute drive to the main cathedral. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Bamberg.

Excellent friendly service, the hotel building is old but nice and comfy.

Perfect simple room, welcoming host in reception, they even called a taxi for us when Uber wouldn't work. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the wifi was strong, the shower pressure was good, and the room was very clean.

The location is unbeatable- right in the Old Town and viewing the river. The stuff were very kind welcoming and helpful- our room was ready before the check-in hour, the lady at the reception gave us a map of Bamberg and a short tour guidance around the must-see places. There was a nice breakfast at the hotel which she offered and we enjoyed on the next morning.

Wonderful location in old town Bamberg, right on the waterfront. Very friendly, helpful staff and communication with the hotel was easy with a quick response.

The young blond guy at the front desk who checked us in was so nice and kind and helpful. We had complementary glasses of wine and free pastries. All was generous. The room was comfortable and spacious for a couple and 8yo+16yo. Location is perfect. Breakfast was perfect.

Charming modernised hotel, relaxed friendly staff, lovely breakfast and dinner, comfortable room with a bath. All within a short walk beside the river into town.

Great location, parking in the courtyard, wonderful staff, delicious and varied breakfast. This is a great option.

Hotel is near the train station and also within 15 mins walk of the old town. The room was well appointed and clean. Good shower and well sized bathroom. Staff answered any queries submmitted via booking.com messaging immediately. This was greatly appreciated. There is no reception at the property, you checkin online and received codes by email which you enter on a key pad at the room door. There are staff present to help with breakfast and show you how to leave your luggage. Breakfast was good. Would use again.

location was good, not far from highway.

Wonderful — highly recommended. A hotel in Bamberg’s historic center that, while preserving the authenticity and charm of a “historic” property, has refreshed some areas, such as a truly beautiful and functional bathroom and certain elements of the furnishings. Excellent location right in the heart of the beautiful Bamberg. The staff is warm and incredibly kind. We recommend this hotel both to those traveling with their four‑legged friends and to those without. They treated our Rocky wonderfully, providing a dog bed, bowls, and treats. We had rain during our stop in Bamberg, and at the hotel entrance, we found towels ready to dry our dog. Truly countless thoughtful touches for our furry companions. Breakfast includes vegan options. A well-rounded attention to animals and the environment, with eco‑friendly choices.

The room was clean and good service by the phone

Great location, big room, great staff.

A beautiful, comfortable and quiet hotel in a great location, several minutes walk from the main old town area. Had a good underground parking. Breakfast was very good and had a nice variety of options.

Rooms were beautiful - we have view of the river. Location was right in the middle of old town.

We enjoyed the apartment, the central location and the friendly staff.

Location is great. Large room for a good price. The negative reviews made the booking feel a bit risky, but they seem to be outdated since the renovation.

You could not ask for a better location. You are right in the heart of old town. Literally meters from famous brew houses, cute shops, cafes, the river, the old town hall and other attractions. Despite being in the heart of the Centre, it is very private and quiet. I’d stay here again on my next visit.
