United KingdomThe room (1) we had was very comfortable, very tidy and extremely well decorated. The Bathroom was excellent. It has a lovely bath and separate shower that is outstanding with shower controls recessed in tiles on the wall. Plenty of storage space for belongings etc. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. There was nothing to really dislike at all at this hotel.

United KingdomMy room was exactly as the photos show - clean, good size, really comfortable. Really big bathroom with a wet room style shower. The kitchen is lovely and clean, excellent coffee machine and other appliances. The place was easy to find and get into. It's not in the best location but it is near a bus stop, and the walk into Detmold was only about 30 minutes.

NetherlandsWe had a great time during our stay. The apartment is very cosy where you can even enjoy yourself playing some vinyls. The host is one of the most kindest persons, and supported us with any requests that we might have. The kitchen was already filled with all kind of things that you need during the stay, like coffee, peper, salt and herbs for cooking. The house has an amazing location if you are searching for something in the nature. Hopefully we will come back some day!

Lovely small town with lots of hiking trails around it.
Lovely small town with lots of hiking trails around it. You can see everything that Detmold itself has to offer in jut a day or two, but then you can spend as much as you want exploring the beautiful Teutoburg Forest.

Beautifully maintained apartment on the edge of the Detmold Altstadt.
Superb location in a relatively unknown part of Germany which deserves to be much better known. Suitable for the seasoned traveller or those who are new to Germany. The owner is very helpful and communicative with guests.
