The room itself was very comfortable - rustic charm with state-of-the-art amenities - excellent lighting, very comfortable beds, very well equipped, a nice terrace, and the room was very quiet despite the property location on a busy road. The property is very dog-friendly, and we had a charging station for our EV in front of our room. We did not do breakfast, but the cafe looked inviting and store as well equipped.

We stayed at this property for just one night and unfortunately didn’t have a chance to try the spa or the breakfast, so our review is quite limited. Still, it was a very nice place to stay on a January evening, with helpful staff, quick check-in, and a clean, comfortable room.
We did have dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was excellent. We ordered the rumpsteak, and I would definitely recommend it to meat lovers.

It is a charming family run hotel in the middle of the forest. We had a wonderful and very big room with a balcony overlooking the small lake. The staff was super nice and I felt at home.
I hope they will not change a thing, it was very charming and I hope it stays like this forever, there are not many old fashioned (in a good way!) hotels like this anymore

Great Breakfast and super wellness facilities. great pool and 3 sauna's. Staff mega helpful. Cant find any faults here for the price. I will use this hotel as a stop off point on future long journeys.

Don’t expect a regular hotel, this is a ground floor 2 bed apartment which we were unaware of when we booked….however it ticked all our boxes for an overnight stay. No complaints here. Overall a good apartment with extras.

The small town of Bad Salzuflen offers a lot.
The small town of Bad Salzuflen offers a lot. Beautiful old houses and a nice city center invite to stay. Also, there are plenty of good restaurants. We have used our stay in Bad Salzuflen to visit and hike in the Teutoburger Wald, which has many sightseeing opportunities.

Lovely small town with lots of hiking trails around it. You can see everything that Detmold itself has to offer in jut a day or two, but then you can spend as much as you want exploring the beautiful Teutoburg Forest.

* The beds are terrible. My partner and I both had a sore back from the mattrass and the pillows are so thin you need to ask for a second pillow!
* For German standards the breakfast is simple
* When checking in the lady from the reception did not speak English and when we left no questions asked like how was your stay. Just sign-off and be on your way.
* The swimmingpool is very small...maybe only ok for little children.
* Interiour hotel and room outdated/old fashioned

The town of Bramsche is very cute with a small town feel. The old town has many small historic houses and shops. We had breakfast in a small bakery there and could get bread and rolls with various toppings as well as a German style breakfast with a boiled egg.

Nice and quiet city, good atmosphere, secure feeling, hiking places within short distance (Spelunkenturm, Sennhütte..), tourist spots (e.g Schloss) easy to access. Quite in the center for trips to neighboring cities (Hameln, Schloss Hämelschenburg, Schloss Schwöbber etc.).
In late Sept/early Oct many restaurants closed; quite some shops closed/empty.
