- The food was amazing. Breakfast was the usual continental breakfast you'd expect at any good hotel with the additional personalized beverage request (coffee/hot chocolate,etc.). The bread selection could be a bit more expansive but whatever was there was top notch (including the scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages). Dinner was amazing. We loved the salad bowl and we also tried the Kinderburger and the Fischstäbchen, all of which were amazing. - The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and answered all my questions and accomodated our requests (they brought the dinner to our room since we had an infant and it was difficult for us to go to the restaurant in the evening, they provided a boardgame for our 5-year old to play in the room upon request and generally answered all the questions I had regarding various things and suggestions for activities)

Very interesting place in a really nicely redone old industrial oil mill, with some rough edges remaining. Very nicely decorated and comfortable room and superb massive sauna on the top floor (free to use for hotel guests). Good facilities for cyclists and excellent breakfast buffet. Also a nice restaurant but quite busy: we could only get a table relatively late.

Lovely welcoming host. Room was spacious and clean and very comfortable.Loved the old style hotel.Great breakfast with lots of choice. We were travelling by bicycles and were given a secure place to store them.
