It's rare to find a hotel which is so surprising in its hospitality. The staff was excellent, the building spotless and the garden area equally so. But what really stands out here is its generosity. From the drinks, sweets and snacks offered free of charge, to the suggestion that one makes up a packed lunch from the ample breakfast, Hotel Kaiserhof is exceptional.

Fantastic location in the centre of town. Great bicycle (bike) room that was secure. Lovely comfortable bed and a shower over a bath. I had my first bath this year (normally have a shower) and read my book; it was heaven. Everywhere was clean. Excellent breakfast choice. All the staff were lovely.
