Large flat with two bedrooms and kitchen annex. Very comfortable beds and large sofa. Kitchen has everything You need, including multifunctional microwave with oven-like mode. Good for up to 4-6 people. Helpful host. There is a small shop nearby with friendly shopkeeper, although quite expensive.

An excellent spot in the Hartz Mountains, which is a convenient starting point for exploring the area. Elend is located in the central area of ​​the mountains and the building with the apartment is on the edge of the forest, in a quiet environment full of greenery. The apartment is well equipped and the space is organized perfectly. We were surprised by the attention to detail and many small, but very useful and nice elements (e.g. an above-standard set of dishes, a coffee brewing set with a lot of coffee, cubes and cables for charging many electronic devices at once, numerous board games, etc.). It is very clean and even styrylny. The hosts are very helpful and respond quickly to questions or requests. For 3 days we saw about 25% of the attractions from our list, so we will probably go to the Hartz Mountains and then we will definitely use this apartment.

A truly outstanding stay! The room was comfortable with a brand-new bathroom, and the view from the terrace was just stunning. The owning couple are such lovely people who clearly put a lot of care and attention into every detail. Breakfast was amazing and far above what you’d normally expect in this area. Overall, this hotel offers so much more than the usual standard – highly recommended!will come back for sure!!

I stayed here last year and was determined to return. Woodland location, peaceful, super hostess and staff, excellent cuisine. Raccoon family provided great entertainment.

Great place with wonderful owners. The room was very fresh and spotless. Breakfast and dinner were both really good. I do enjoy that you need to order beforehand. The portions are very generous. You sort of forget it's a hotel, but you get the feeling you've come to someone's home. I really enjoyed my stay and would come back!

A good central base for exploring the Harz region.

A good central base for exploring the Harz region. Not a large choice of local restaurants. The limited bus service was good and free with the guest card. The Brocken steam railway ran close by and had a station in the village.

What I like very much is that, the staffs are very...

What I like very much is that, the staffs are very accommodating. Serving breakfast with smile and respect whoever you are. Even you are foreigner ( not German). The rooms are clean. I can personally suggest this place to those who are planning to spend their vacation in a very quit and peaceful place.
