Location - close to a motorway, good place to stop for rest if you're on a longer journey. Comfort - very big comfy bed and brand new interior. Kettle for morning coffee and large fridge to store food. Easy check in (cod provided after payment to get into the room), good for late arrival and early check out. Free car parking right outside of your room.

The place was great! It was a good size, we were a group of 3 adults and would have had room for one more person. I'd say it's perfect for a small family. The location was a little inconvenient if you're planning on spending most of your time in Freiburg, but the little village is really cute! There's a bus every hour, or in the next village (approx 20min walk) there's a regional train, which is about 20mins into Freiburg. We left early in the morning, spent the whole day in Freiburg, and headed back in the late evening. The host was really lovely! She gave us some suggestions on sights worth seeing, and was very accommodating!

I have stayed in quite a few hotels in Badenweiler over the years. This was my first stay at Villa Rosenhof and definitely the best hotel in Badenweiler for me. It was small and charming, beautifully furnished, the owners are delightful and attentive, the services, especially the breakfast, wonderful and excellent value for money. I shall be returning for sure.
