Whole experience was excellent - hence a second visit. They have made further improvements and extended, not only the dining areas, but the 'experience' - street scene area is amazing! The hostess is very friendly and personable (not an English speaker, but wth, we got through just fine!), the rooms nicely sized and clean, beds comfortable, ensuite well proportioned and clean, and as for the food - words fail!!

I really enjoyed my stay at Matsch in Plauen. I especially loved the careful and charming renovation of this historic building complex. I still remember the place from the 1980s, and it is truly incredible to see how beautifully it has been restored. It is definitely a must-see for everyone visiting Plauen.

Cleanliness and comfort Friendly hosts had no coffee in my room (Only tea) so I was given some sachets on the first morning Second morning I was woken by a knock on the door and it was the owner who brouht me a tray of fresh coffee

Excellent location on the edge of the old town. Underground parking. Large, very comfortable and clean rooms. Tea & coffee making facilities. Great breakfast with a wide range of high-quality ingredients.

Great hotel in the centre of Plauen. Spotlessly clean, friendly and helpful staff, and excellent breakfast buffet.
