Das Waldhaus is a family-run hotel located in Forbach, the heart of the Black Forest and 8.1 mi from Baden-Baden. Guests can enjoy a drink at the on-site bar and a terrace with river views. Warm and cosy place Kind staff Beautiful view on the river Awesome breakfast
A regional restaurant and its very own butcher’s shop are offered by this family-run guest house. Enjoying a picturesque setting in the Murgtal valley, it is located in the heart of Forbach. * WiFi worked fine. * Bathroom was relatively large. * My bed was comfortable.
Located in Forbach in the Baden-Württemberg region, Am Keschtewaeldele **** features a balcony and garden views. The view was amazing. The hosts were very kind. They even had drinks ready to charge so we didn't really have to go to the store. Everything was at hand. Very clean and very complete. We had a great time staying here, even if it was for one night.
Located in Forbach in the Baden-Württemberg region, Ferienwohnung Pusteblume has accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. Super nice location, the view was spectacular. Everything seemed to be super new, we have not been able to spot a stain in the entire place. The equipment was matching the colors of the kitchen. You could really see that they put a lot of effort in decorating the appartment
Located in Forbach, 25 miles from Karlsruhe, Zum alten Wärterhaus has a garden and free WiFi. We had a really nice stay in this cute house by the lake. The view was stunning, it felt like we were alone surrounded by the beautiful woods. It was nice to be away from our hectic lives for a few days. The hosts were super nice! The house was completely renewed and everything was available in kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room,...
If you are looking for the quintessential quaint German village this is it. Virtually every house looks like it's auditioning for a postcard. It does not have much for services though (I couldn't find a place to buy any kind of rain jacket for example) and I think there are only 3 or so restaurant/bars.
The village did not impress me at all. Only 3 restaurants, friendly and cosy, where I ate the same things since there was almost no options for vegetarians. We walked 7-8Km to the closest lake but once arrived there was nothing to do or something worth it to be admired. Fortunately we were able to catch the bus to go back to our hotel (instead of walking all the way back or wait 2 hours for the next bus).
Great spacious apartment in a beautiful old building. Location was perfect as base for hiking. Grocery store down the hill and a great little store for fresh bread at walking distance (open only in the morning). Restaurant-wise there are not that many options in Forbach but Das Waldhaus is really good (cannot say the same about Adler).
Nice midleclass-hotel perfectly located on the Westweg-Trail through the Blackforest, breakfast was ok, no dinner served.
I was walking the Westweg and this hotel is perfectly placed on the route as well as close to the centre of Forbach
