Room was immaculate and very clean and comfortable. Having access to wellness area. They had bike box storage for our bicycles which was great. Our room was outside the walls but this wasn’t a problem. Breakfast was great.

It's a beautiful hotel with lots of character. We were delayed in arriving but the staff were so helpful and arranged for a key to be left for us in a keysafe with excellent instructions on how to find our room. Breakfast in the Winter room was very good with lots of choice.

The guesthouse is located in an inner courtyard opposite a restaurant with outdoor seating. We were initially concerned about the garden area, but fortunately the restaurant was closed. Thanks to that, the surroundings were very quiet, which positively affected our overall satisfaction, especially considering the central location of the guesthouse in the city center. Our room was very small (the smallest type available), but it was perfectly adequate for one night. Cleanliness was excellent, the furnishings were very simple, but sufficient. Thanks to the firm mattresses, we slept very well. There was a locked bike storage area in the courtyard. Check-in and breakfast took place at the neighboring Adler Hof hotel; the breakfast was excellent. Overall, during this year’s trip along the Elberadweg, we consider this stay to have offered the best value for money.

A lovely family-run hotel with an on-site brewery! The location is fantastic: very close to everything: the city centre, major sightseeing attractions, and the river Elbe. The rooms are large, cosy, and impeccably clean, with comfy beds. Great breakfast; staff were all helpful, welcoming, and kind. I especially enjoyed the on-site museum and the many beautiful old plates displayed in the hallways - with wonderful memories of the past. During the pre-Xmas season, they even host a charming Christmas market in their courtyard!
