Lovely hotel in Kleve's city center. Very friendly staff who gave us the key immediately after arriving at 1pm and showed us where the free parking lot of the hotel was. Great water pressure in the shower. Good breakfast is included in the price. We decided to have dinner in the hotel as well, which was a great German meal. We will book again next time.

Wir haben eine Nacht mit unserer Familie hier verbracht und hatten einen wirklich schönen Aufenthalt. Das Apartment war sehr sauber, ordentlich und bestens ausgestattet. Das Bett war bequem und wir haben super geschlafen. Besonders praktisch fanden wir den Parkplatz direkt an der Unterkunft. Außerdem war die Nachbarschaft angenehm ruhig, sodass wir uns richtig wohlgefühlt haben. Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen.

Lovely personal hotel. In a quiet area. They have a Large carpark to the rear of the hotel which is free to park in. The room was big with a table and sofa as well as comfy double bed. The staff were very polite and helpful, they were patient and understanding with our poor attempts to speak German. Breakfast was very nice with a range of meats and cheeses, and a selection of breads. There was also choice of hot options to go with. The coffee was also good. I would be happy to stay here again.

A lovely city that holds special memories for me.

A lovely city that holds special memories for me. Very modern and some nice bars and restaurants. The Commonwealth War Graves in the Reichswald Forest is just a few miles down the road going into Holland, is well worth a visit.

Kleve can be an amazing and relaxing stay off the beaten...

Kleve can be an amazing and relaxing stay off the beaten path and brings the charm of a local town that can still support tourist interests. At the local biergarten, the staff spoke very clear and clean English, but did not recognize us as "American" so you know you are not in an area frequented by US tourists. From the local fish and chips restaurant for an amazingly fresh fillet of fish prepared to order to the hot stone steaks and tuna fillets at the biergarten along one of the canals, you can watch the sun set over Anne of Cleves' castle on the hill

Business normally takes me to Kleve about once a year, but...

Business normally takes me to Kleve about once a year, but only enough time to conduct business and take a later evening walk. Would love to take in some of the surrounding sights and relax for a couple of days. The restaurants along the canal make the ideal location to do just that ^_-.

Kleve is bigger than I expected.

Kleve is bigger than I expected. We were there to view the University and the general area. There is a great selection of shops and supermarkets. The Zoo was very quiet but really enjoyable and very reasonably priced. Kleve is easy to get to from Düsseldorf and there are lots of bus routes when there but they do seem to finish early (before 9pm). We took the bus to Nijmegan also which was also great for shopping.

Kleve is a quaint, country town with very polite and helpful...

Kleve is a quaint, country town with very polite and helpful people. Many people come to visit the nearby Reichswald Forrest War Cemetery which is maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commision. It has 7672 allied burials from WWII - serviceman from Australia, UK, Canada, New Zealand, South Africia, Poland and other countries. It is a beautifully kept cemetery, which is very peaceful. Situated in a forest area the sounds of birds are very evident.

The staff are so very friendly and helpful! I have never had a hotel remember my name from an online booking. Breakfast offerings were delicious, the bed was comfortable, and I didn't feel like I had to compete with the other guests to get a warm shower! Kleef has so much to see that we will be back and we will book at Akzent!

Breakfast was good served at table on second day. We were allocated a family room for the two of us and had a separate seating area. Location right in the centre of Kleve. Only downside was the limited hotel parking , but we managed on each day to find a space.

The hotel is ok. Clean. But the personal it's not very friendly. The mum was very nice,but daughter very unfriendly. The room good. Breakfast was very super. And the mum. She is the best :) 😍
