The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, the location is right in the center, and it’s a good option for accommodation.

Visited with my elderly dad who is not very mobile, and the staff at the hotel were very understanding of this and gave us rooms where he wouldn't have to use any stairs. As we were there during the heatwave we were very lucky to be upgraded to air conditioned rooms at no extra cost - without the air con, we'd have really struggled. All of the staff were very welcoming and friendly, and also really helpful when we were trying to work out our transport plans due to train cancellations and road closures. They were great at liaising between us and the local taxi company, as our German is very limited. Also they helped us work out where to eat in Kleve! The rooms were very clean, and there was comfortable seating provided so you didn't have to sit on the bed. We had a great stay here, and if we come back to Kleve (preferably not in a heatwave!) we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location and very friendly staff

Lovely personal hotel. In a quiet area. They have a Large carpark to the rear of the hotel which is free to park in. The room was big with a table and sofa as well as comfy double bed. The staff were very polite and helpful, they were patient and understanding with our poor attempts to speak German. Breakfast was very nice with a range of meats and cheeses, and a selection of breads. There was also choice of hot options to go with. The coffee was also good. I would be happy to stay here again.

The location is beautiful and the people are extremely nice.

The breakfast was typically German with cold meats,cheese plus boiled eggs etc so it was good for the size of the hotel,the young lady serving us very friendly and helpful too, It was very nice to have an on-site car park behind the hotel

The welcome Host was very friendly and helpful as we were on a cycle tour and kept our bikes safe

The hotel is situated on a main road with good parking for motorbikes. We had a room at the back with a small balcony. We didn’t eat at the hotel in the evening but breakfast was enjoyable.

Very new hotel and very nicely finished.

Very calm & quiet. Comfortable. Exactly as described. Great value for money. Perfect for our dog and baby and us.
