Clean, friendly staff, great food perfect breakfast buffet

This is a beautiful place to stay. The Basilica is breathtaking, as is the Bavarian mountain scenery. There is a beautiful Chapel too. The breakfast is excellent and you have restaurants and the canteen to choose from. For me the spirituality of this Catholic pilgrimage site was really special.

Asking owner for scrambled eggs for breakfast, pls consider he's gonna bring MOUNTAIN of food. Seriously - tidy place, communicative owner doing most of things himself. If you need ti sleep near Coburg - pick this place.

High capacity parking lot around the hotel, no problem to find a free spot for parking the car.

High-quality family-run hotel in a quiet location, but perfect base for walking in the area. The restaurant serves traditional Frankonian food but prepared in a quite original style; well worth visiting for several dinners! They also suppprt the local breweries by serving local beer.

Above expectations, a great apartment in which we felt comfortable throughout our stay (5 nights). Intercontinental breakfast and very nice staff and other guests. Easy access to Obermain Therme, but also the hotel spa is very convenient for moments of relaxation. Our whole family was extremely satisfied and spent intense moments together here. Thank you!!!

Staff is very friendly, breakfast is simply fantastic, pool and sauna.. everything perfect. And no need to find a restaurant : great “franconian” plates are available. Highly recommend!

The cleanliness of the room was top notch. Usually in some hotels you find those hidden spots where there is some dust which has not been done well. Here everything was spic and span. The room size was great with ample space to move around, two chairs and small table inside and another 2 chairs in the balcony (which however is shared with the neighbouring room with no partition for privacy / security). Bathroom was good size to move around. Room was on first floor and although there were other guests, it was absolutely quiet from that point of view. Breakfast was more than enough , and cannot understand the comments about not being enough. Full continental with different cheeses and hams, variety of bread roll and multitude of jams and honey, boiled eggs, good choice of herbal teas. Staff readily available for any demands during breakfast.

The hotel is situated in a small, but very tidy rural place. What I expected was a regular hotel with standard household equipment. What I found was a tastily decorated room, centered around inner peace and meditation. All flats are situated around a beautiful inner garden with cute pavilions available to the guests. Easy mornings with coffee. It felt like home. I was there for just a few days, but with the extra equipment it is also suited for a longer stay. The owner and the service personnel were very kind.

Everything in the hotel was what we were looking for. The exception was the evening restaurant which for us was above standard for this category of hotel. The menu was different each day and the food on offer was amazing. The dessert had our taste buds singing, each spoonful was a pleasure. Service was very good as well.

Clean, comfortable, friendly and accommodating staff. The price of the room is really a value for money.
