IrelandEverything. Superb place, unique setting, by the lovely Moselle, the vineyards soaring up to the sky. 10 out of 10 could not do it justice. Beautiful room, staff all wonderful, lovely evenings on terrace enjoying nightcaps. Just like a dream.

We also really appreciated the thoughtful welcome gifts of a bottle of local white wine and sparkling water. Car parking reserved a couple of roads down the house.

Lieser is a cute town with a nice bakery and restaurants.
Lieser is a cute town with a nice bakery and restaurants. The town does not have a supermarket and isnt as busy as other towns which is nice if you want to stay in a quiet place but have access to nice and busy places.

Lieser belongs to the Verbandsgemeinde of Bernkastel-Kues, whose seat is in the like-named town. It lies on the Middle Moselle and is named after the river Lieserbach, which empties into the Moselle west of Lieser. The village is shaped like an upside-down T (when viewed from the south) as many houses have been built below the vineyards, along the Moselle's bank. The older part of the lower village exhibits tight terraced housing development with vineyards lying behind, owing to the intensive winegrowing. Rising up over the village is the Late Baroque Saint Peter's Parish Church (Pfarrkirche St. Peter)

I loved this house and the location.
I loved this house and the location. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We had designated parking, although I wish it was a bit closer. I also wish that there were more comfortable sofa in the living room for when our family wanted to watch tv in the evening. The tv was nice because we could log into our Netflix account to watch movies. The house was so spacious there was lots of room for our family to spread out. I would have a few more rugs to keep the place a little warmer and cosier. I would recommend this stay it was perfect for our family.

The minibar in the common area with wines and cold beverages and coffee to purchase was really nice and made the stay even more relaxable and enjoyable. The breakfast was very caringly arranged with coffee, bread, cheese, ham and vegetables at every table and the rest as a small buffet, which made it feel cozy and familiar. The view from the balcony overlooking wine fields was so nice. We will definitely stay at this hotel for our next visit in the region!

The location is great. You have a view from the nice balcony and your a re right in the vineyards where you can walk for hours. Also, the location is right outside Lieser so the town with bakery and restaurant is in super close walking distance. The hosts were incredibly friendly and you can buy their own wine.

Perfect location overlooking the Moselle and surrounding vineyards. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, nice to sit on the bar terrace and have an evening drink. Breakfast was elaborate and and extensive - with lots of bitesize, gourmet dishes, as well as standard fayre. Room was large with seating.

It was an high-end experience (we do not normally stay in such a luxurious hotel). You step back centuries in time.
The restaurant delivered us a nice 'surprise' diner with good wine.
