The Posthalter hotel was excellent value for money. The staff the food and cleanliness was excellent and I will not hesitate to book this hotel on my return visit in September.

We spent 3 nights in the hotel and were satisfied beyond expectations. Everybody was really nice and friendly – unfortunately, our German is not the best, but we were offered help of members of staff who speak Czech. We were also thrilled by the menu in their restaurant, both breakfast and dinner. Regarding breakfasts, they were delicious, and we were surprised that most of the things were in reusable containers without unnecessary plastic, for example, even yoghurts, butter and Nutella were in glass containers, which is also super aesthetic. Dinners were yummy too. Their chef Jiří is a great professional and it’s clear he loves cooking! We enjoyed everything they cooked, and we had no problems choosing main courses from the menu. We didn’t use sauna, but the pool was great. There were not many people in the area and the water temperature was ideal for swimming. Of course, it’s not for relaxing in the water and hanging out there, but if you want to be active, this is the place to go. We look forward to visiting the place again!

The guest were so kind and helpful. The place is clean and the spa includes pool and sauna so the children were very happy.

Upon arrival, we were pleasantly welcomed at the reception with a glass of sparkling wine. We had a villa room, it was literally like a castle, amazing stylish furnishings and a beautiful view of the valley from the room. Wonderful wellness with a swimming pool and several saunas, where we relaxed pleasantly throughout the day. The breakfasts were very rich with a large selection of everything. We will definitely come back. Thank you for a nice stay.

A truly wonderful gem of a hotel. We stayed in their suite which was located in a villa just a few steps away from the main hotel building. We had the most beautiful view overlooking the little town of Zwiesel and enjoyed the big space the suite provided. The decor was definitely unique, far from modern, but still done with taste and comfort. We were absolutely *in love* with the super comfortable king size bed and the impeccable job they did with the soft lighting in the room. The breakfast included in our stay had a wide selection and great quality of ingredients, as well as a very pleasant dining room experience. The staff was kind and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed the spa and fitness facilities offered by the hotel. If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing escape this is definitely the place to go to. We would be very happy to come back as soon as possible☺️

The place is wonderful, with a beautiful hiking trail running right behind the property. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety of options. Everyone who works there is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I will definitely come back.

Everything was so perfect, from the service, the room, the wellness facilities like the swimming pool and the sauna area, also the food were so excellent. Very recommended Wellness Hotel and definitely will come back again soon!

Very nice building: traditional Bayerish design, inside absolutely modern to match 21.century traveller’s expectations. Very good location, tasty breakfast, wide selection of lunch and dinner food choices, all of which is delicious. Fab beers on tap, very kind staff!

Beautiful hotel, lovely location in Bavaria, friendly staff and great breakfast. Sadly I was there on business so did not get to make use of the spa, but it looked excellent.
