I would rate it as 3 star good hotel. Simple, but very clean, with wide rooms and quality furnishing. Outside is a bit deceiving. Inside rooms actually are new and with no sign of use. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful friendly welcome and service from all the staff. Fantastic location in the centre of Lingen - a lovely small town where almost everyone seems to be as kind and amicable as the staff and guests in the Kolpinghaus. Food was excellent - at dinner and breakfast - and our room was very nice. Will certainly stay there again if we are passing that way.

I am biased because I used to spend annual summer holidays...

I am biased because I used to spend annual summer holidays staying with my grandparents when I was little and have loved every minute. Lingen has changed so much over the years but thankfully the Rathaus still remains the same. When I die you shall find Lingen engraved on my heart!

The hotel is by the roadside, my room was very noisy.

The hotel is by the roadside, my room was very noisy. A room at the back of the house would have been better. Nice welcome, I was able to get into my room early in the afternoon, which was nice. Friendly staff, good breakfast!

We had a truly superb experience at the LOOKEN INN hotel in Lingen. Its location was superb, conveniently close to the central square and right next to a shopping mall. The room was quite spacious with a modern design, a large comfortable bed, and a generous balcony offering a panoramic city view. The buffet breakfast was delicious, providing a great variety of food and drink options. Additionally, there was an underground garage with ample parking.

The owner was very welcoming and pleasant, and also very helpful. The staff were friendly and polite. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and the restaurant served good wholesome food at sensible prices. I will stay there again if I am in the area.
