I usually never write any review, but I need to say this. I arrived to the hotel, I was sick since the day before, the lady receptionist called, if I remember well, Mariassunta, showed me a great example of empathy and wonderful meaning of the word "hospitality" since our arrival. I must say that my parents are both from that field and since a kid I have been in this world, and lately, this word has lost his sense everywhere. She took care of me, called the pharmacy to explain them everything since my German is not so good, took our stuff, and later gave us the room earlier when we returned. The day after she was also asking about my health and how went our day. So I want to thank you so much for everything and your genuine way of taking care of the people , I hope you get to the top because you deserve it, and I hope you can read this message. The room and the hotel facilities were amazing, great quality everywhere, a true 5 stars. You have everything and more in the room, very classy, amazing bed, we slept like babies.

We stayed here for the second time during a long holiday road trip. The first time we already really liked the very nicely decorated hotel, location, rooms and breakfast. But this time was even more special. We arrived late at night after a long trip with two kids, having left an Italian camping in the full on rain. The owner was beyond friendly, offering us to unpack our tent in the hotel outdoor patio so it could dry. And then even kept the restaurant running late so we could have (a great) dinner. This is just a special place that we were sad to leave after just one night. We'll be back.

The staff was friendly, and when I needed help calling a taxi to the airport (because Uber was taking more than 15 minutes to find a match at an early hour), they were fantastic. An Uber would have cost me around 24euros if a driver had been available, and the taxi was 40euro, but well within expectations/budget. My room had courtyard views on either side, and was Marilyn-Monroe themed. Only one set of windows had shutters, though, so I had to draw the curtains on the other, since it was their main lobby/courtyard. The bed was VERY comfortable. I didn't have time in the morning to enjoy the breakfast, but there was a bakery right across the street from the hotel parking entrance, and the riverfront, which is only a block away, would have been lovely - but as of April 2024, it's currently undergoing construction of some sort, so no access.

We stayed at WENS Hotel in Mainz from August 5th to 7th (2 nights), and the experience was excellent in every aspect. The room looked exactly like in the pictures – modern, very clean, and well maintained. Everything seemed new, from the furniture to the bathroom, which made the stay very comfortable. One major plus was the quietness – we weren't disturbed at all, neither by neighbors nor by any outside noise. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed, and very approachable throughout our stay. Honestly, there is nothing we could complain about. It was a great choice, and without a doubt, we’ll come back here next time we visit Mainz. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and genuinely good service.
