My rating is 12. The hotel is located in a beautiful forest by the lake. There are comfortable walking paths and benches from which you can admire the lake. A room with character, super comfortable beds, living room with a balcony and a view of the lake. The hotel has a restaurant with good cuisine. Delicious breakfasts.

A lovely hotel in the quiet village of Fleckl, a perfect base for exploring the Fichtelgebirge area. Hubi and Karin are wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. The accommodation was spotless and full of character. My room was huge, with two balconies and great views, a comfortable bed and space to relax and work. Very easy to get there and plenty of parking. Several other guests were regulars at the hotel, and it is easy to see why!

Beautifully property, brings back memories of vacations past with its retro feel, very comfy beds! I hope to return.

Wer hätte gedacht, dass es so nah bei Bayreuth so ein schönes Hotel gibt? Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber, modern und gemütlich. Alles war neu und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Essen war einfach hervorragend authentisch italienisch und richtig lecker. Besonders bedanken möchten wir uns bei Johann, der sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und ein toller Gastgeber ist. Man fühlt sich hier sofort willkommen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können die Villa Johannes nur weiterempfehlen!

Location - beautiful tree-covered mountains. Crisp, clean air. Ease of access although I was placed upstairs. Car parking was good.

I loved Everything about this hotel. The hotel is historic; extremely well maintained; has a fantastic restaurant; and the staff are amazing.

The nature, the space in the bedroom, the kindness of the personnel... The breakfast was well organized and the personnel ready to explain if any questions. The personnel at the reception was really helpful and gracious. It was a very good stay.

Truly beautiful place on the Nuremberg-Cheb railway, perfect for a quiet night or a longer stay away from busy cities. The room felt pretty spacious and the bed was just right for me. Not everyone spoke English, but the employee who served us the most did and was very helpful. Both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were quite tasty and we were even served tea at our table at breakfast. The area seems quite good for hiking, too. I would love to return here! Oh, and let's not forget the generous cancellation policy, which is why I picked this in the first place - no need to fear losing money when rescheduling!

The hotel room and facilities were clean and well maintained. The swimming pool was about 28°C so perfect also for our kids. I have to mention, that the a la carte menu was exceptionally good!!! The Chef did an awesome job! Perfect location for a starting point for hikes.
