Everything was perfect. Very nice cosy hotel in the middle of forest on a hill with great view upon Bad Ems. Room very comfortable and beautiful, bath well equipped and clean. Great breakfast and great friendly staff. We had a great stay, would be happy to come back.

Very small village with few sightseeing opportunities, but...

Very small village with few sightseeing opportunities, but charming and had several great restaurants. We were curious about my husband’s family’s origin site, so we went for a short visit. We are not outdoorsy people, but there seemed to be ample opportunity for small boats and cycling/hiking. No souvenir shopping, but plenty of grocery stores and pharmacies for any necessity.

Very clean basic hotel room, well maintained. The bed was comfortable and everything worked. The host and his wife were very friendly and helpful. They are of Greek origin and also speak good English. It has a cosy bar and a nice beer garden at the rear. The restaurant serves excellent Greek cuisine as well as German favourites. Good cold buffet breakfast was included. Located close to the centre of this very beautiful riverside town. The tourist information office is next door.

Very welcoming, kind, and helpful staff. We liked the traditional "Gasthof" atmosphere. Very clean room and very comfortable beds. The restaurant was good. Good parking space at the hotel. Well prepared traditional German breakfast.
