From
United KingdomModestly furnished but spacious, well equipped, tasteful interior with own terrace looking out across lush grassland. Perfect for a relaxing stay. No air con but the requested fan did a good job of taking the edge off the heatwave. A surprise cinema on site and really delicious restaurant food on a beautiful dappled garden terrace elevated the experience. Highlight the truffled carpaccio.

GermanyThis is a wonderful old school hotel in a cute little town with wonderful facilities and great breakfast. Everything from the first hello to the last goodbye was a perfection, except, probably pillows which were too flat. Otherwise, absolutely great. We will definitely return

Neustrelitz is a Beautiful picturesque Sommer Location.
Neustrelitz is a Beautiful picturesque Sommer Location. But in winter months it is not so accommodating for western travelers. Bars , restaurants and hotel services close around 21.00 even on weekends. But the restaurant qualities are superb, the small Teirpark is beautiful for families with kids young and old . Walking with the Monkeys is great fun. The entire area is a Part of the Müritz National Park nature reserve . Müritz is the largest of several Natural Lakes throughout the reserve. For Brits such as I who loves Boats and fishing with a Cornwall like feeling but without the candyfloss and fish and chips, Waren (Müritz) is a must see . Short drive from Neustrelitz

The hotel is so beautiful and has been beautifully restored. Very clean. The spa and sauna area are incredible - foot baths, two types of traditional sauna, steam room and a pool with plenty of space to relax on day beds next to a fireplace. We hired bikes which I would definitely recommend. I hadn’t organised anything for my stay and the staff were very helpful in arranging a guided kayak tour for me of the national park. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We saw deer in the park outside the restaurant window on our first day.
