Wonderfully peaceful place with super friendly hosts. Log burner was a bonus for me and mom. I couldn't revived this place more if you want relaxation in nature, in a traditional style, with all the mod-cons. We're going to stay there again soon. Having read the picture book about the history it's amazing what they have achieved. Very high standard and the little touches of the decor you would have to experience yourself. Mom (86) and I were very impressed.

Super hotel set in excellent motorcycling country. Staff are friendly and helpful and the food is excellent. Parking is discreet and feels reasonably safe for motorcycles. My room was clean and comfortable and contained everything I needed.

Room was older, but very clean and functional. The service was excellent, above and beyond and very friendly. Breakfast was plentifull and tasty. We needed an early breakfast and it was waiting for us when we came down to the restaurant. The landlord even searched for a Canadian news station for us to listen to (without us asking for it!). Restaurant serves excellent local cuisine and if your lucky like us you get to listen to a acapella group of local ladies singing a few songs while you have a drink. Highly recommend if you're in the area, and excellent value for the money!
