Great location for those travelling to a meeting or event in Saarland University. Very good value for money. Breakfast was simple, but sufficient. The staff were friendly and helpful. They also offer late check-in free of charge via a key dispensing machine: just make sure you ask them to put your key into the machine before the reception closes.

the location was really nice, very easy to find. You have a choice of snacks and drinks which you can help yourself at any time in the evening and the night and just need to write it down yourself. Facilities were very good, heating was really important as the past hotels lacked a good heating but this one got warm very fast. All in all a pleasant experience. Breakfast was also good.

Room was great, food and drink was great. Very convenient covered parking. Too bad it was raining the whole time because the outdoor garden area looked beautiful and would have been a great place to drink a Bavarian beer.

Self-checkin is really convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet (traffic noise outside but that wasn’t a problem). The bed is really, really comfortable - I got a great night’s sleep. The hotel is being renovated and there is some renovation noise at certain times but the hotel told me about it in advance and over the weekend (Saturday night/Sunday) it’s quiet. It wasn’t a problem for me. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful.
