Plenty parking, clean and roomy room and bathroom, great bed Paisley extra for breakfast in a very cozy dining room (access after 8.15) Cannot check in till 3 pm, instructions to check in where positioned on a table outside but not communicated to us and nobody was around till nearly 3pm (we were 1 hour early) our fault for being early and not checking the papers on the table near parking Very friendly staff, fortunately I still speak a little German which is better than their English Highly recommended!

1. Die Alte Werft was one of the best hotel stays we have had for a very long time, particularly at this price point. 2. From arrival to departure, we felt welcomed by all the staff members we saw. 3. The breakfast was superb; the supper less so (fish overcooked) but still OK. 4. We highly recommend Die Alte Werft in the pleasant town of Papenburg.
