This family owned and run hotel was just wonderful. I did not expect to find such a gem in the outskirts of Schwerin. It is what I call an honest down to earth hotel, the staff wonderful, the room in much better shape than I saw on certain high class hotels in my traveling past. And although I booked on a very short notice during traveling peak season / long weekend, I think I got the best room there - facing west with a balcony, able to enjoy the sunset. And as the hotel, so was the food in the restaurant - honest and very good. I strictly recommend this Hotel.

Very nice property in a great location. The room had three large windows overlooking a pretty street. The staff was very helpful and appreciated an early check-in. I definitely recommend.

Our stay at the Sea hotel with this splendid. We did have a couple of minor glitches in that the toilet broke, and the hair dryer didn't work, but the receptionist with kind enough to come up and look at the toilet and issue us a new room next door which we could either move everything into, or just use the bathroom of. We really loved our room, so we just used the restroom there. So in essence we got to experience two exceptionally beautiful rooms for the price of one all just because our toilet broke. We were slightly disappointed that we showed up on the day that they only had pizza at the restaurant, but after enjoying their traditional pizza, we were blown away. Even though our room with a balcony with about the best room we've had in decades, the highlight for us was the sea sauna. You literally cannot get more relaxing than that! So to conclude, yes we would definitely recommend Sea Hotel to anyone who is looking for a unique, charming, and homey inn.

stopped for one night for a work trip and was pleasantly surprised. Check in on the machine was quick (even late at night), room was huge and had a nice view of some gardens nearby. Breakfast was good and can't complain about the price

Schwerin city center can be reached in just over 20 minutes.

Schwerin city center can be reached in just over 20 minutes. After the hustle and bustle of the city, the peace and quiet in and around the hotel is very welcome. The hiking trails are well-maintained. The lake is about a 10-minute walk away, but unfortunately, swimming is not permitted. The location is also very suitable for families with children.

No proper kitchen (as described), no menu as advertised, no drinks menu either, and a daily allowance was included in the room bill without a receipt. Breakfast was good, staff friendly, but the promises made online were not true.

A great starting point for those seeking relaxation, peace, and proximity to nature. The apartment was pleasant and clean. The only dining option in the immediate vicinity was at the campsite. Parking in the underground garage was very annoying (the parking ramp was on two levels, and everything was very cramped), and finding alternative parking spots near the apartment was almost impossible due to the extremely limited parking space.

The hotel is in a beautiful location, and if you get a room facing the street, you also have a lovely view of Lake Schwerin. We ate once at the "Tau Helga" restaurant and once at "Boje 43." The food was delicious at both.

Did we eat? Only breakfast.

Did we eat? Only breakfast. But since there were no options at the hotel, we had to find other places. Anyone wanting a coffee in the afternoon? Forget it. Of course, not that particular coffee. But a good tip is Café Rothe on Puschkinstrasse. Luckily, we know Schwerin well, so we were taken care of in the evenings.

Located close to the lake, ideal for cycling tours in both directions, with quick access to Schwerin by bike and the added benefit of being able to stay overnight in a quiet setting. The hotel has a good-sized parking lot, comfortable outdoor seating, and the cycle paths along the lake towards Schwerin are very beautiful and varied. Thankfully, only dogs on leashes are allowed.

Huge hotel but quirky design. pleasant staff, good onsite restaurant for dinner and optional breakfast. Comfortable room, nice to be given a double as a solo traveller. Rooms are arranged in apartment groups. Free car parking. WiFi available.
