The location is quiet, breakfast was wonderful and well presented. We primarily chose to stay here for the pool and it was excellent. The hotel has a recently opened a new extension with a huge pool, spa, wellness area (since 1/25), and part of this is a fresh terrace and dinning / event room. Most notable about the hotel was the cleanliness, especially the spa area was immaculate (a thumbs up to house keeping). The construction of the new facilities is top-notch, highest quality materials and great attention to details. Their website understates the extent of the wellness facilities. There are indeed 3 pools, 2 outdoor which are heated (1 smaller adult only + 1 large with water spa features), and a massive indoor pool. They are stainless steel, and superbly clean! The sauna's are all very large, and high quality, and there are many spa rest areas, one large and beautiful one in a quiet corner of the facility. To top it off there's a spacious garden and outdoor relaxing area.

Very cozy hotel. Confortable and with a good sound isolation. Location is great as well. Service was good and people were very polite.

This hotel has an indoor pool, tennis courts and a large beer garden. It stands in the Oberpfälzer Wald Forest, on the edge of the Bavarian Forest.
