Friendly owners who made sure we were able to check in early. There was everything that is needed for a short stay: Cleanliness, quiet, well-equipped kitchen. The owners proactively asked for feedback which is sympathetic. I would for sure recommend it.

After a long and warm day of cycling, i had a warm welcome at hofgut Dösterhof with a nice chat and a glass of wine. They also offered me a breakfast on the go because i wanted to leave early to avoid the heat. Really friendly people. I recommend!

The hotel is easy to find and has ample free car parking. There is a garage available for motorcycles but we opted to leave ours outside. The staff are excellent and speak good English. The rooms are very large, comfortable and well appointed. 2 minor gripes. The restaurant was not open when we stayed but the hotel had contacted us and given us plenty of notice, and the restaurant they recommended, just a short walk away, was fabulous. And there was no one there when we arrived. We had to wait 15 minutes before we could check in.
