I liked the location, the room was great, the breakfast as well. It's very nice and quiet around. The view from my balcony was great! It's was very relaxing.

It is away from the city so if you need a long break,this hotel is good for you. And if your a nature lover,i will recommend this hotel🙂

The entire hotel was clean and very comfortable. The staff are warm and friendly plus a great breakfast.

We enjoyed a short romantic break. The location was perfect for this purpose. The hotel is located in a beautiful area of the Harz, surrounded by a wonderful forest. However, it was easy to find the hotel and, as we were travelling by car, we were able to easily get around and visit Stolberg, the Rose Park in Sangerhausen and other interesting places. The hotel grounds are also incredibly beautiful. Although the lower park was closed due to the construction of the new swimming pool, our room nevertheless faced the front of the hotel grounds and we enjoyed the view undisturbed. The breakfast and dinner were super lovely with an excellent selection of food. Perhaps the restaurant should consider displaying the wine bottles when they only serve a glass of wine, instead of bringing a glass already filled with wine to the table from outside. The wellness area with swimming pool is excellent. I had a facial and a massage. And it lived up to the highest expectations. I would definitely do it again if I had a longer stay.

Hotel Bodethal is a wonderful place to stay, thanks to its nice location in beautiful surroundings. The very forthcoming staff make guests feel welcome from the moment they arrive, and the high level of service is evident throughout the entire stay. The fantastic breakfast offers a great selection and a perfect start to the day. The clean rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, and the nice garden provides a peaceful setting to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing stay

All the staff were particularly friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the restaurant both for dinner and breakfast. The decor is as pictured. I was pleased that the room, bathroom, and common areas were clean and tidy.

The staff were very helpful. Parking was available on the property. The room had a small sitting / living area which was nice as the only communal sitting areas were either on the landing (one armchair which would have been a lovely spot to read) or in the small foyer. The staff didn’t hurry guests out of the breakfast room, though, and I sat there with my book for a while one morning. I speak German, which the staff preferred, but I noticed that the reception staff spoke pretty good English.

Cozy clean room. Electric kettle in the room was also clean. Breakfast buffet offered a good variety of choice. The hotel is in a quiet residential area near Kurpark and the forest, I could find hiking trail nearby. The view from the window was nice, especially in the sunny morning and evening, I felt so relaxed there!

Lovely room, great to have a private terrace to enjoy the evening sun. Hostess was lovely. Breakfast was exceptional!! Penguins to make you smile 😃

The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices at the buffet. The service at breakfast by the waitresses was very good. The location was excellent! The castle and the grounds are beautifully kept and inside was warm and cosy with lovely antique furnishings to fit the castle’s original era. Lots of attractions nearby! Restaurants/shops nearby Perfect getaway Can highly recommend recommend We enjoyed it so much that we plan to return again.
