This historic hotel in the heart of Starnberg boasts excellent transport connections and easy access to the lakeside promenade. The location was great. Our room did have AC but we did not use it. The receptionist spoke great English which was great even though we know German.

Fantastic host. Accommodation was spotless, facilities were first class in a beautiful location. The accommodation had everything. Brilliant 👏 Rooms were huge.
Starnberg was a pleasant surprise. We took the ferry trip around the lake and this was a relaxing way to get a feel of the place. Lots of things to do - walking, swimming, boating, etc. could have stayed longer.
First time to Starnberg and only had a couple of days. This is a place where you easily spend a week or more. There is so much a person could do outdoors - walking, swimming, water sports, cycling, etc. I would cerainly like to come back.
Nice little town on the north side of Starnberger see. We rented bikes in Starnberg and biked around the lake. Also rented a small electric boat and went around the lake for couple of hours. I recommend both of those activities.
Starnberg is a lovely place with easy access to Munich and surrounding areas by train and lovely trips on the boat around the lake, the longest being 3 hours. There are also some lovely walks in the area. There are good restaurants and bars. There is one small museum, but unfortunately all the information is in German.
The location was excellent - 1 minute from the Railway Station, just across from the lake. Handy for the Town Centre and for catching the boat for trips on the lake. Breakfast was lovely. Nice intimate dining area. Coffee was available downstairs at any time as was fresh cold water.
Charming little hotel, great breakfast, close to the town and lake, tho not right in the centre so also quiet. Hanna who runs it was personable, friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the en suite and shower really good.
Staff was very friendly. It was clean and convenient for where we had to be early the next day. Restaurant in the hotel made dinner plans easy! Breakfast in the morning was simple but nice.
Excellent in every way, and it's proximity to the centre of Starnberg and Starnberg Nord S-Bahn.
The host was nice. Good location if you’re looking for something on the north end of Starnberg
