Very nice little family-run hotel in the middle of nowhere in the Thüringerwald, with fine rooms and excellent cooking. We were hiking the Rennsteig in the SE direction, and the last few days of that 6-8 day hike has few places to stay these days, alas: lots of closed hotels. Gh Münzer is a bit aside from the Steig, but with some creativity that's not a problem at all and in fact gave us some very nice walks otherwise not to be had.

Situated in Rauenstein, 16 km from Skiarena Silbersattel, Die Triniushütte "Thüringens schönste Aussicht" features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

Everything!!! The staff is very polite, the place is wonderful, the room (triple room on the last floor) was quite big and beautiful, the dinner buffet was very generous and various (with all the drinks included, also beers on tap and wine on barrels) and the breakfast was absolutely at the same level! I can't wait to book another time in this amazing structure! :)

Staff helpful and friendly despite very little English spoken. Google translate is a must. One of the largest bedrooms I have ever been in with an equally impressive bathroom. Usual choice at breakfast with the evening meals extremely good. Free parking at the hotel.

This hotel is in Steinach surrounded by the beautiful Thuringian Forest. The Hotel Schöne Aussicht offers rooms with great views, a library, a skittle alley and a rooftop sunbathing terrace.
