I had a little tour planned on my trip thru Germany and was...

I had a little tour planned on my trip thru Germany and was looking for a place to stay for one night. The Ratskeller in Thum was a wonderful choice! My room was clean; bed was comfortable and free internet was available as well. The dinner was a delicious and so was the breakfast. All staff were very friendly and make me feel very welcoming. I wish I could have stayed a bit longer to discover the beautiful surrounding areas more. Hopefully will be back one day! Highly recommended!

Located in the little Saxon town Thum, the Ratskeller is the perfect base for trips to various destinations in the Erzgebirge region - I did a two day stay during a motorcycle tour from Zwickau home to Karlsruhe and took the opportunity to visit the motorcycle museums in Zschopau and and Schloss Augustusburg nearby. The Staff is exceptionally friendly and the food served in the restaurant is very deliciuos. I felt very comfy during my stay and will return very soon.
