NetherlandsWe really enjoyed our stay here. Aleksandra and Michael are the nicest people you'll ever meet, they made us feel very welcome and at home. The room was great, beautifully made with a lot of attention to detail. The room had a balcony with a beautiful view, the surroundings and the road towards this hotel was also very nice.
Breakfast was absolutely perfect, I am a vegetarian and there was so much to choose from and everything was really fresh. The downstairs area where the entrance and also the breakfast is, is also really beautiful, all hand made by the owner,
Everything was super clean and the whole building had a really nice smell, like we were in a wellness hotel.
Everything was basically perfect, we will definitely stay here again.

I walked through Todtmoos and it was all faded glory.
I walked through Todtmoos and it was all faded glory. I had a pizza in one of the last restaurants left and the service was like in the hotel: long waiting, very impolite and grumpy. Todtmoos is a village you should forget.

A good area for hiking and exploring the Black forest sights. Todtmoos is an attractive small town with shops and cafes’ however the food was so good at our hotel (Gersbacher) we opted to eat there each evening. There are some activities like bowling and putting in the area and a swimming pool , ( not used by us) ´ and some more adventurous activities for those so inclined.
Good beer’ wine coffee and cakes also abound and parking is generally easy.
The only negative is the proliferation of motorbikes’ extremely noisy and alarming on the twisty roads, which are also attracted to this region.

Todtmoos is a charming village with limited accommodation options, and everything else was fully booked during our visit. At first, we were unsure about this hotel based on the photos we saw and didn’t expect much, but we still wanted to experience the village. It’s true that the centuries-old building could use some work on the outside, but the interior has been renovated (something not reflected in the pictures). Our room had been recently remodeled, was very comfortable, and featured a modern bathroom with a great shower.

The hotel is located in a very nice area, with lots of interesting places to explore nearby. It was easy to find, and the hotel itself is really lovely inside, with a special charm!
The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful and answered all our questions. I would also definitely recommend trying the dinner - you’ll get to experience the exceptional taste of Ukrainian cuisine.
We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back. A big thank you to the owners!

The location was central, well appointed room great view with private balcony beautifully clean and well presented. Very comfortable bed good shower and bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and much home prepared bakery products, but special thanks must go to the owners and staff for their warm and kind hospitality they really made my stay there enjoyable hope to return again in the future , great family run hotel.

Alejandro and his family were very kind, and the apartment was spotless, comfortable and very well equipped. It's about 30 min pleasant walk through the forest or over meadows from the centre of Todtmoos, which is also easily reachable by car. Of course, the surrounding woods are breathtaking.
