A chic town worth visiting, Plan your stay in advance because from one hour to the next Booking com will change the price as you wish, I booked a room for 57 euros for Monday, on Sunday I checked for Tuesday and Wednesday from home the prices were the same, on the same platform * Booking com * but when I got there surprise other prices for Tuesday and Wednesday double = 109 euros, half hotel full, Shameful Booking com!!!!!

A nice little town.
A nice little town. Good local shopping. Great Doner place (there's several, we went to the one in Kölner Str.). Great train connections into Bonn and Cologne. Rent a bike and explore the countryside. It's beautiful in spring, hilly, with meadows, woods, just lovely.

Calm, quiet, safe, friendly. In front of bus station an train station to go to Cologne (Köln). Can be in Cologne in about 15-20 minutes for a few dollars. small budget: Can have a full dinner (Döner, sandwich etc) for a few dollars (4 Euros) or beer(2 Euros/bottle). Can walk to grocery store, drug store, restaurants, shops, movie theater. Turkish, Italian, German, Greck food restaurants around and lot of Gelato restaurants around.

From $27 per nightSuperfriendly, flexible and talkative host; I was allowed to let my backpack behind the next morning so I could go to Königswinter and pick it up afterwards. Good price, comfy bed, clean bathroom and not that far from the trainstation. There's a good Japanese restaurant (Oishii) nearby. Troisdorf is not an interesting town, but it's well connected to Koblenz, Köln and Bonn.

Breakfast was good. The room was a bit small, when the sofa bed was made. The beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly. There were restorations going on in this hotel. They renewed rooms on the first and second floor.
