Service is good. We had a problem with the room that we got, the bed was wobbly turns out one of the foot was broken. I called the reception and the staff handled it right away, they transferred us to another room.

The staff was great. The room size is good. Nice breakfast on the 10th floor with very nice view. The location is excellent, just 10 minute walk from the train station and the city center, but in a more quite area so it is quite during the night.

The City of Smiles, Århus (or Aarhus as it’s now officially known) has been around longer than any other Scandinavian city, so has had plenty of time to accumulate attractions and eateries. Its vibrant music scene and nightlife are popular with Denmark’s largest student population, and the University Park features the excellent Steno Museum and Natural History Museum.
Weird and wonderful artworks adorn the multi-coloured ARoS museum, and artefacts in the Viking Museum are on the site where they were discovered, alongside copies of exhibits from the Moesgård Museum, located in a forest south of the city centre (closed until 2014). At the heart of the neighbouring park is Marselisborg Palace, the Danish monarch’s summer residence.
The botanical gardens are opposite the Old Town, which is not actually the historic centre but rather a colourful collection of half-timbered buildings from all over Denmark, set around a pond.
Shops and pavement cafes line the Aarhus River which enters the sea by the large port which has contributed significantly to the city’s success. Overlooking it are the ultra-modern Isbjerget apartments, resembling peaks of icebergs. Also innovatively designed is the Modernist town hall, and Aarhus Cathedral has the country’s tallest spire and longest nave.
Booking.com’s accommodation options range from beachfront hotels to cheap hostels and apartments near Aarhus Airport.
Honestly Aarhus surprised me in many ways. I loved it so much. There are lots to see and do. Shopping was very nice. We had amazing times at aarhus. The marina was also nice place for walking and having a snack.

Lovely city, great size and lots to do for a 4-5 night stay.
Lovely city, great size and lots to do for a 4-5 night stay. We went to a skateboard event, followed by a wander around town and found a great sushi place for dinner with reasonably priced options. Second day we wandered down the pedestrianised shopping street and Salling Rooftop to see the stunning views. Then wandered on to the Latin quarters and stumbled upon a lovely, low-key street market with great vendors and live music. People sitting on door steps and drinking coffees or beers or enjoying an ice cream. Felt inspired and had an ice cream and later discovered amazing Danish hot dogs! Wandered back to hotel to drop off shopping bags and then went to the charming fun fair, Tivoli Friheden. Had fun there, caught a show - realised there was a concert on that evening at the park which explained the up-beat mood. Had a delicious dinner. As we left we took a detour down to the scenic harbour where we enjoyed another soft-ice type ice cream and wandered about yacht-spotting and enjoying the sea-views.
Too short a stay - had an airplane to catch. Must visit again!

Not as much to do in Aarhus proper, but if you had the means to travel outside there was more to see. Not as visitor friendly as other Danish cities we visited. One full day was enough for the city proper to meander around. Be careful of where you eat, because some of the smorrebord menus were simply fried fish (from their fish and chips menu) on a large piece of bread or soggy chicken salad. Not the Danish versions you might be looking for.

Confusing town plan. Lost my sense of direction frequently.

Great range reasonable eating places. Friendly service. Flexible menus.
The art gallery was a bit strange. Not much of a B collection for an experienced art lover in other European cities. The shop there was well stocked and presented

A lot to do in Aarhus. Something going on all the time.
A lot to do in Aarhus. Something going on all the time. A very dynamic town with a lot of culture, A perfect location for day visits to explore the northen part of Jylland such as Skagen, Ebeltoft, Mariager and much much more. Food is a great experience in all of Denmark.
It was everything that we needed for a relaxing get away. Personnel was friendly and so kind when we arrived earlier that the scheduled check-in time to accommodate us and our cat ☺️ Room spacious and clean with view over the city.
Breakfast was tasty with a nice buffet. The coffee during breakfast was not that great, but there was the option of an espresso which was great.
All in all we look forward to visit Aarhus again for more days. We would definitely choose the same hotel
It is very hard to call this beautiful place "hostel", since it is definitely much more closer to a hotel, both in terms of comfort and quality of services. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, and the breakfast for just 75 DKK is certainly a big plus. Amazing central position within minutes from many attractions and services. Definitely going to stay there again when coming back to Aarhus.
We loved everything - stayed one night as a short couple getaway, and we couldnt be happier with the hotel. Loved the vibe of it, friendly staff, everything very clean, and it was great to be able to play pool in the lobby when we came back from the town, and enjoying a drink from the bar.
Plus location is amazing if you’re in Aarhus for enjoying the city center. We’ll definitely be back.
It's a little oasis right in the middle of Aarhus. Loved the breakfast – I could just take my time and enjoy. There were lots of staff – all super polite and attentive. The hotel has personality.
