The hostess was very friendly and gave us the full privacy. The rooms and property were very clean. There were a few bathrooms to share for all the guests. There was a kitchen where you'd be able to prepare something or use the fridge, of course shared. We didn't try the breakfast.

Stars everywhere good Moravian information banners. No HILLS in the City. Honey cake yum yum - local cafes and bars, church, the climb up into the clock tower and the view from there, hotel Brødremenigheden, food and wine beyond expectation, stove manufactory visit with Hans, the band on Sunday morning. The tour of the city buildings visits' to the museum, sister house, archives. The long walk on Sunday afternoon in the woodlands, over the new bridge. The question is when will I return to finish the visit? How did I find the time to sleep! Thankyou Christiansfeld for this renewing of the Spirit>

after travelling for almost two days with no internet access...

after travelling for almost two days with no internet access we arrived at the hotel as agreed between 6pm - 7pm. on arrival we were told that the manager had cancelled our booking because they were over booked and he had emailed with this information on the day of our arrival. we were devastated. we had been driving from the Netherlands through Germany and into Denmark for 10 hours and were tired and hungry. the manager informed us that he had booked us into another hotel in the middle of Christiansfeld, no address just a phone number and a zone code. the manager and his staff told us to turn right out of the driveway and head into the main square. we eventually found the hotel only to fin

We were in Christiansfeld for a wedding.

We were in Christiansfeld for a wedding. It is a beautiful village with plenty of places to park and walk around. There is a delicious ice cream/chocolate shop. There is also a lovely restaurant (English translations, The Kings Cellar,) in the middle of the village with outside seating and a great menu. We will definitely be returning.

A historical UNESCO village that is simply beautiful.

A historical UNESCO village that is simply beautiful. The original homes and buildings will really make an impression. The unique and beauty is enhanced by the local displaying the Danish flag, and stars. They are known for the star lights and quality unique cakes. The locals are exceptionally helpful, polite, and well worth stopping in and taking a walk through the village. Village is very quiet, the ambiance of the star lights in the windows and just the quietness will leave you feeling relaxed.

Dangerous place for children.

Dangerous place for children. Extremely steep stairs in the house. House on a major road where cars drive fast. Danger of children running onto the road. Not recommended for anyone who cares about cleanliness. Several cobwebs, dead insects, black floor with stone chips. No kitchen. Owner unfriendly.

The young man who was a waiter in the evening was very nice...

The young man who was a waiter in the evening was very nice and chatty. At breakfast there was no staff except for one person who asked for our room number, otherwise we didn't see anyone. The price of our dinner did not match the quality. The room was pretty clean but the mattress on the bed was so soft that we had a lot of back pain when we woke up.

The property owned by a former marine cook, invites all clients to relax and enjoy of the nice décor, spacious rooms, and large green surroundings. It is in fact a gem, in -Christiansfeld. The attention dose not stop there. The restaurant is well decorated, and dishes offered are unique, tasteful setting and excellent dishes to enjoy a marvelous dinner. Wine menu is large and international. We really enjoy it. Excellent service and attention!

The location, the size of the house, the decor and cleanliness. The beds were very comfy too. Gitte was lovely and gave us ideas for restaurants in Christiansfeld. She also was very flexible on arrival and departure times... this was very much appreciated. The house was so so quiet and peaceful.

The hotel was extremely helpful and proactive when I was describing the need of a place to put my son's medication, which needs to be in a fridge. They immediately brought a small refrigerator to our room. Very nicely placed in the city and spacious rooms.
