We were the only guests so had sole use of all the common areas upstairs. We cooked up dinner in the modern kitchen and loved the Scandi cosiness. There was an undercover hanging area for our washing to dry.

Nice hotel, also for a bicycle traveller. The bike can be parked in a safe place during the night. The room and bathroom are specious and clean. Breakfast was very good. There is a (fancy) restaurant in the hotel, but other restaurants are within walking distance.

Hotel Lolland offers good-value accommodation only 2 minutes’ drive from the Knuthenborg Safaripark and the Maribo Lakes.

This is a unique, quirky and characterful hotel. Very homely and comfortable with a marvellous host. It sits in a quiet rural location and has lovely landscaped gardens with terraces, fruit trees and a rather unusual summer house. Breakfast was excellent. Traditional Danish fare - cereals, fruit, yoghurt, meats and cheeses, eggs, rye bread and bread rolls, and unlimited jugs of coffee and tea. We had an evening meal there as we were celebrating a wedding with 40 others. The food was of excellent quality, well cooked and beautifully presented, and the staff were marvellous. We would most definitely stay here again.

During our visit to Knuthenborg Safaripark, we were lucky to stay at this wonderful place. My family and I travel very often, so we know how to judge accommodation based on real travel experience — and honestly, this place was absolutely fantastic. The location is excellent and only about five minutes by car from the shopping center. The breakfast was very good, and the host, Don, was incredibly kind, welcoming, and extremely helpful. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and the place is perfect for families. There is also a TV with many channels suitable for both adults and children. Don brought us breakfast items, a nice bottle of wine, good beer, and even fresh delicious strawberries — all complimentary and simply as a gesture of hospitality. Honestly, this man is the right person in the right place. Thank you so much, Don! We highly recommend this place.🌹

The room was incredibly cozy, and the beds were super comfortable. The shared living room is fantastic, and the kitchen has everything you need. There’s also a lovely outdoor area to enjoy. The hotel is just a couple minutes’ walk from the center of town, so it’s easy to access everything while still getting a bit of peace and quiet. The team isn’t onsite (or at least wasn’t during my stay) but they were impressively responsive and helpful through the platform, late at night and early in the morning, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend staying here!

Each "room" is actually a semi-detached tiny house, build into reed and wetland. Very clean and tidy. There is a central facility with reception and restaurant.

OUR RESTAURANT IS HUGELY POPULAR AND IT IS THEREFORE IMPORTANT THAT YOU MAKE A RESERVATION. This peaceful hotel is in the Lolland town of Bandholm, by the sea.
