Offering an extensive garden and free WiFi throughout, Jacoway Inn is located 8.7 mi from the Douglas-Charles airport in the quaint sea-side village of Calibishie. I have never had a friendlier host than Carol! Plenty of really good food, different breakfast every day and my god the bananabread! In general the Self made bread was phenomenal. Carol also helped with recommendations, contacts to the right people or gave us her phone to call! So whatever we needed she was there to help!

Molly, the host, is such a friendly, nice, lovely person who really takes care to make your visit as good as it can be. A really superb place to stay, in a great area. This hotel in Calibishie has been booked 1 time
This is a beautiful spot. Not expansive white sand beaches, but comfortable smaller ones. Escape Beach was beautiful and a relaxing spot. Poz's was great for dinner. Red Rocks was worth the short walk to see from up close.
The locals are warm and friendly, we never felt the slightest bit unsafe. Go to the Chocolate factory and to Baptiste beach, all within walking distance. On your way there, if you're hot and need a small break, stop at the "Hot Spot" on the hill close to Chocolate factory and have a talk with the local owner. She's wonderful! There were several places down the street on Sunday night to get locally cooked food...everything we ate was delicious, and the locals are wonderful people. You HAVE to go to Batitbou Beach.....so incredibly beautiful!
Calibishie was a beautiful, friendly village on the ocean. It was a great place to stay on the north end of the island. There were good beaches and things to do nearby. If I were to go back to Dominica I would split my time between Calibishie and somewhere near Rouseau on the south end of the island for the full experience.
We liked the peace and quiet. This place is great for privacy the cottage is very spacious have all convience the bed is supper comfy. The staff us very helpfull and the surroundings is awsome. If you love nature villa passiflora should be your choice.Calibishie is our favourite safe and easy to move around the island. The lion fish meal at Rainbow Resturant is awsome. The people is Calibishie is really nice.
We spent 5 weeks on Dominica and loved it! Sadly we did not feel comfortable in Calibishie, not a place we would reccommend when there are so many others better, safer areas to visit. Our car was vandalised on the last day of our stay on the one day we stayed in Calibshie Our apartment owner highlighted that we were to keep the place locked up as there had been break ins in the area. Not a safe place.
Nice village with a few good restaurants, however the beach in Calibishie is not suitable for swimming as there is broken glass and debris. We would recommend staying at Calibishie Lodges or Escape, Escape has a lovely small beach and beach bar.
We absolutely loved the setting and facilities, yoga on the terrace to the rising sun, beaches, sea and rivers to swim in peacefully within a short distance, a garden barbecue for the fresh fish we bought from the fishermen in Calibishie. It's all heavenly and to think it's possible to offer such facilities and personal human warmth so soon after Maria.
We had a really great time at the Jacoway Inn in calibishie. Heather was super friendly and helpfull with some tips about what we have to do on dominica. The breakfast she is offering is just from an other planet. Super tasty and served with passion! Fruits and veggies from the own garden, just beautiful! I will definitley come back if I go to Dominica again.
A lovely house guest in front of beach , the view from the balcony was amazing , the room was clean and smell good the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious
Very nice host. Helped us with money exchange at good rate and gave us good advice. Close to Batibou beach and the supermarket in calibishie is 1 min away.
Very nice cottage, well equipped and clean. An island in the middle of Dominique
The best accommodation of our stay in Dominique. The apartment is large, bright, clean, very well equipped. The feet in the water with a terrace overlooking the sea. Better value for money and by far. Molly is very kind and speaks a little French; she gives good advice: the beach of batibou beach is idyllic (about 3km). We could even leave the accommodation at 16h because there was nobody after us.
The very lovingly furnished guest house is located directly in the small village. The room has everything you need. The sea is right outside the door. The breakfast offers everything your heart desires. Hermien is a friendly and warm hostess. She is Dutch, speaks very good German. To note: Cash payment, but that's quite common in Dominica. ATM is in the place so no problem...
Actually everything 🥰🥰🥰🥰 and I would definitely visit again and also recommend this place to any and everyone 💯💯💯💯 the owners were indeed friendly passionate and commited and welcomed us with open arms made us feel like home
Very comfortable seaside accommodation. Everything is renovated and in perfect condition. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and there are supermarkets and restaurants next door.
Fantastic host, really great breakfast (good coffee!), perfect spot to start or end a Dominica-Tour if you are arriving at the northern airport.
