This small family-run place is just steps away from the beach, restaurants, bars etc. It's not luxury but has everything I needed and is great value. The people running it are lovely. And the security is top-notch.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel common areas were very pretty and well maintained. It was really an little oasis of tranquility, we loved hanging out by the pool in the interior garden. The location is also great, it’s a very short walk away from the beach, and from The Boat House restaurant which we really enjoyed going to and recommend.

The breakfast was very good. There was a wide selection of food and it was well prepared. The restaurant was very close to the beach and water so the view was great. The seating was comfortable so it was nice spending time there, reading or playing cards, etc. The tables had power outlets for charging which was great. We liked the fact that the hotel is small and personable. The owner and staff were excellent in every respect!

Boca Chica beach was funky in a good way.

Boca Chica beach was funky in a good way. One section seemed to be largely frequented by locals, who hung out at tables underneath a canopy of umbrellas. There were several restaurants. I was approached by a man who obviously recognized me as a tourist and steered me to a restaurant that took credit cards. They took good care of me. There were what looked like paddle boats on the beach, apparently for rental. Further down the beach there are modest hotels and maybe clubs. One place appeared to be a discotheque. This was not a place for people who want ritzy, it would be great for people who want local color. Note, there are packs of stray dogs hanging out, but they were harmless.

Boca chica has the allure and the true island vibe that we desire when we think about the dominican republic. The food is great.I love the fact that the town is so accessible for everything I needed.The hotel was really nice.I stayed at hotel Hannabi it was really lovely

Sad, overpriced and not very nice.

Sad, overpriced and not very nice. A lot of rubbish everywhere. No local culture. Beaches were poor. Theres a view of a large powerstation from the beach. No good food available apart from ridiculously overpriced top-end restaurants. Very shabby and disappointing overall. A poor end to a disappointing trip to the Dominican Republic which these days feels like a rerirement haven for expats. We left feeling deflated.

Nice city with so many changes in the years I've been.

Nice city with so many changes in the years I've been. A bit annoying to deal with the vendors who seem to come every 5 minutes. Also watch out for the locals who try and get you to sit down and eat . They will mark up the prices of the food to make money off of you . I recommend you take a picture of the menu and sit yourself down and wait for someone of the establishment to atend you . The locals will try and hustle you out your money

Boca chica is a nice place to stay however you have to be...

Boca chica is a nice place to stay however you have to be careful with the host of these properties they're not all trustworthy. After being confirmed by booking.com to stay at a property then get there at 9:00 in the night and being told it's not available and it has been canceled only to check booking again and find out that it's still saying confirmed that is not the way to start your vacation.

The beach is beautiful and great for families, unfortunately it isn't a safe and welcoming place. You have the aggressive beach sellers that are rude and many are disrespectful. Also, the food vendors/restaurants on the beach charge outrageous prices and add overly high taxes to everything you order and many charge separate for on-the-beach seating. If you pay for a water activity, you will most likely get scammed! It's just not fun or safe for anyone anymore

Very nice, functional, clean apartment, very close to Duarte with restaurants and clubs and to the beach. Michele is a perfect host, very helpful and courteous. He gave me so many useful advices for my stay, I thank him very much. I recommend Recidencial Mignoli to everyone, I will definitely return, you can't choose anything better in Boca Chica. My wife broke her arm falling over a dangerous a dwarf wall round the shower, the hotel showed little sympathy and offered no compensation. We had to cut short our stay in the Caribean and lost around €5,000. Booking.com gave us a $15 refund which added insult to injury.
