I booked Velero Beach Resort for a bachelorette weekend with my girlfriends. The resort offered a penthouse suite that was well-priced and accommodating. Upon arrival, the security guard who was posted on the street made sure we were with the hotel and then let us through. Check-in was firmly at 3 pm but we were able to go to the pool and hotel bar until we wanted to check in. The front desk attendant (Juan) was so nice and welcoming. He gave us all the info we needed and let us know we could come to him for whatever we needed. The room was so clean! I've stayed in other places where the room smells like mold and this hotel did not! The housekeeping staff were equally as nice. One morning my sister was sleeping and I asked that they not go in her room. They were so quiet that she didn't even know anyone came. We also somehow locked ourselves out of our safe. Juan sent someone up that helped us reset the safe and made sure one of us was in the room to reset the safe again, which made us feel safe. The hotel itself is located at the beginning (or end) of the main strip of Cabarete. The beach was clean and we were never bothered by vendors as the hotel beach is blocked by rocks and barricades. The beach is also safer than most other parts bc of the rock barricades, so we were able to swim carefree. We felt safe at all times. The resort also has their own bar and restaurant, which was great. The food was really good and the staff were friendly. You can also order food from the bar and bring it to the pool. Overall, Velero Beach Resort rose above our expectations and I will recommend it to anyone looking to go to Cabarete!

The lagoon and common areas are lovely, really relaxing and immersive. The staff is very attentive.

Very chill hotel. Staff are super helpful. Restaurant has good food (nothing else really close by to the hotel). 5min walk to the beach. Nice pool.

Very cozy Hotel. The owner of the hotel (Ruben) was very present and interacted with guests, He was very kind and Respectful to all guests, At breakfast he came to our table and greeted us, He was a gentleman and whenever we saw him he treated us as friends. The staff was great and welcoming. Small but great hotel.

the breakfast wasnt avaliable when i got to the loction they told me it wasnt working right now but understandable pther than that i love the staff the receptionist was cool helpfull pool love it the room perfect nice and good air conditioner my family and me loves the place and will be back soon 🤭🤭

The receptionist, Kenny, is perfect. Very polite, knows everything, perfect english and very helpful. The location is perfect directly at the beach for kitesurfing or walking at the beach. We had a room with balcony an could see every morning a marvelous sunrise. Thomas

I felt very welcomed by Edry and Joseph in the reception. Thanks🙏The location is perfect, very close to the beach, supermarket, bus stop, shops and restaurants. I felt very safe to walk around on my own. The room was okay with tv, WiFi and fridge.

I LOOOVE THIS PLACE ! I highly recommend this hotel . You get a big confortable apartment. It is very clean . I just love the vibe of the apartment I stayed . It was right in front of the beach . The staff there are so nice and friendly ! I travel around the world and hardly ever you encounter that the whole hotel staff are so friendly and make you feel like home !! I WANT TO HO BACK TO THE SAME APARTMENT PLEASE :)

Our favorite stay in the DR by far! Property is gorgeous and the staff and guests are both laid back and friendly. Spring for a massage as they are affordable and excellent. Food was great with many options for varied diets. I don’t drink alcohol and really appreciated the delicious mocktail menu. We are a married couple traveling without our kids, but the facility is child- and baby-friendly and all children we saw there were remarkably well-behaved. Our cabana was gorgeous with a great mattress. We loved lazing on the porch with its comfy hammock. We didn’t spend time at the pool with the ocean right there, but it was clean and a comfortable temperature. The property arranged multiple drivers for us, and they were extremely punctual (even in the very early morning) and well worth the cost. Maximo drove us to the waterfalls and dropped us at our next hotel in Puerto Plata afterward, and he was great. Highly recommend!

The place is middle position of sosua and cabret.near to beach.calm and quit.kitchen equpiments are so good .everything is properly perfection.
