I love everything about Select Casa Marina Great service from all bar and waiting staff, Herman's Restaurant is superb. The place is spotless and well kept, and the resort is the perfect size. All the pools are great, and the grounds are beautiful Keep in mind that it's not a 5 star, so if you expect 5 stars, you may be disappointed because there are no sushi bars, and they don't serve lobster and Dom Perignon. If you like a clean resort with impeccable service and friendly staff, then you will love it. A special thank you to Francis, our Select Concierge, who went above and beyond once again. It was our 2nd time here, so we got an upgraded room and a complimentary bottle of champagne. My husband and I look forward to going back.

The guy at the reception was amazing, very helpful and professional, and a great guy. The Restaurant staff are very proactive and friendly, good food and a good environment. Great experience as a first time customer, highly recommend this Hotel.

Some of the best hotel i've been at. The staff is just amazing, especially Noel and Brandon, super amicable and helpful. Also, the restaurant is very high quality, the sport center is top, and the rooms are amazing. Top hotel in the region for sure, and even more if you go to Cabarete to do surf or kitesurf. Cannot recommend enough!

The amazing staff, clean beach, the clean room.

1. A great, safe beach & area for swimming and snorkeling , despite the boat traffic - you just have to keep near cliffs, but that is more than enough for most people 2. Lounge chairs& umbrellas provided 3. Breakfast made to order included & variety of breakfast options 4. Near to public transport, restaurants, bars & supermarkets ex: Puerta Plata & historical zone are a 90 DR carrito ride 20-30 min away 5. The restaurant is not inexpensive, but the food & service is great!

It's a normal budget hotel, comfortable and clean room, air conditioning 👌 Amazing terrace at the roof.. Wonderful staff 👏 👍

I own a hotel so I know how things should be done. We really enjoyed our stay at Velero. Staff work very hard, service is on point, lots of smiles. There is a lot of cleaning and maintenance going on, you see a lot of staff working hard and everything was in very good shape. The location is perfect. The food has improved considerably since the last time I was there a few years ago, I like that breakfast is cooked to order and served fresh, we also ate dinner in the restaurant which was both delicious and very good value. All in all nothing at all to complain about here, and I would recommend.

The calmness, the gardens and the views

It’s a piece of paradise, everything is perfect, the location, the people, the comfort …. We just regret not staying longer to enjoy the amazing energy of this place ! Very grateful, thank you 🙏

This is an amazing hotel on the beach in Cabarete. The staff are really nice and the rooms are clean and spacious. They provided a large water bottle every day and there is a mini fridge (but no coffee maker). Plenty of beach chairs and pool chairs available. Very close to shops and restaurants. Not too noisy. There is even a small gym.

Great room, lovely staff, awesome service

We stayed the week of Christmas. Henk is super nice, his Staff are very kind and always smiling. Hotel is very clean, our room was cleaned every morning usually while we were down having Breakfast. The rooms are air conditioned as well. Breakfast is included, fresh fruit, meat and cheese. Bacon, eggs however you want them cooked, pancakes which are more like crepes, I had those everyday 😊. Nice pool, lots of Birds, little Geckos. We had dinner there our last night, food was delicious. This Hotel is in a quieter part of Sosua if that is something you are looking for. I highly recommend this Hotel, I know we will be staying here again when we come back! 😊

The location was good. Close driving distance to the beach. The person at the lobby was friendly.

The rooms were large. Bathroom and shower were nice. Lots of water pressure in the shower. The restaurant on site was very good, very friendly staff. The location qas in the middle of everything....bars, restaurants and two beaches.

The Canadian family owners. So helpful and warm and welcoming. Ian had us looking forward to the local sights more than any other host anywhere in the world! The new hostel area is amazing... if you need even more budget than it is anyway, ask for a bed in the hostel! The kitchen was great. Loved the snakes and iguanas... just glad they had a cage.
