The staff helped us with everything we asked for. They were also very attentive and took great care of my mom. They called a doctor when she felt unwell and were always willing to monitor her recovery. The food and facilities were amazing.

the staff were so kind, and such a lovely little cabin location was good (nearby Cajas, although the ‘trail’ from the cabin into the park is incredibly steep and very confusing- better to hitch a lift to the visitors centre)

Hosteria is very conveniently located for access to Llaviucu...

Hosteria is very conveniently located for access to Llaviucu or Laguna Torreadora. Also a great (albeit steep) hiking trail right up the hill from the lodge. Trail takes you into a back entrance for the National Park, but it's over 800' up the hill so be ready for that. There's a fireplace in the bungalow, but it doesn't help heat the room all that much. Gets pretty chilly at night.
