This such a beautiful property and it’s wonderful to go back in time when you stay there. It’s been preserved beautifully. The rooms are lovely and the food is excellent. Great central location as well. A big thanks also to Julia and Sandiego on the front desk who were amazing.

This family run business is wonderful. They went way above any expectations we had for any hotel. Not just personalized service, but very personal help about all aspects of being in Loja. The location is next to el Parque Lineal, along the Malacatos river, with walking trails among the trees and flowers. Quiet and tranquil neighborhood.

I really enjoyed saying here for 2 months. It's a large studio with comfortable bed and pillows, and everything you need to Cook. Hot shower and everything is new in the apartament. The views are beautiful over the city and mountains with incredible sunsets. The host is very attentive and answers messages promptly. The only resaon I left is because they started erecting a roof opposite which is too noisy when I'm teaching online, but no problem if you're out during the day.

Small, quiet and secure city.

Small, quiet and secure city. I enjoyed walking around the center and to plan quick trips to nearby places (Vilcabamba, Podocarpus park and ). Love food, very diverse and not expensive. You could find variety of quality, flavours and prices in main dishes, aperitives and coffees .

Loja is a beautiful city with lots of excitement and...

Loja is a beautiful city with lots of excitement and friendly people. The central market is where you can find fresh organic fruits and vegetables, meat, fish and artisan's collections at reasonable prices. The Columbian market is alive with goods and activity. There is a strong cultural platform in Loja with music, entertainment and history.

Loved the numerous and challenging hills and the lovely...

Loved the numerous and challenging hills and the lovely parks. It was easy to get around Loja walking or by using public transit or inexpensive taxis. It was very safe. Many nights I walked the central area sometimes well after restaurants and shops had closed and it was dark. There were no incidents or events where I did not feel safe. As a solo female traveller I would rate the city among the top 5 I've visited on 5 different continents for local people who are very helpful to visitors and for the ability to enjoy the city whether alone and in the group.

I liked Loja better then Cuenca.

I liked Loja better then Cuenca. It is more relaxed, cleaner, and has a wealthier feel to it. People are very nice and welcoming. Podocarpus is a gem, I advise people to find a way to visit (there are very few outfitters, but there is a couple).

One of the most amazing province in Ecuador.

One of the most amazing province in Ecuador. Beautiful landscapes from dry to cloud forests. It is needed at least one week to travel around the main city and the rural areas. Also, one of the best coffee producers places around the globe. Traditional food is exceptional too! And people, very gentle too.

Beautiful calm city with plenty of things to do!

Beautiful calm city with plenty of things to do! Many museums and beautiful streets! I was enjoyable just wandering the streets and visiting stores and churches that we stumbled upon. I would recommend wandering around the town before going to the Museo de la Cultura Lojana because one of the most rewarding parts is seeing the old pictures of the city. However, you can really only appreciate those old pictures if you know what those sites looks like today. Regarding the museums, not all the information regarding openings is up to date. I would make sure to check with the visitor center in the Puerta de la Ciudad to confirm which museums are open. (Even though it said it was open online, el Museo de la Musica was closed due to renovations). Recommendations: -Puerta de la Ciudad -Museo de la Cultura Lojana -Museo de las Madres Conceptas de Loja -Plaza de Independencia/San Sebastian -All of the churches, very beautiful -Parque Lineal de la Tebaida -Mercado Central (en el 10 de agosto). Great breakfasts at great prices! Very easy to catch a taxi in Loja. However, I also navigated most of the city by foot.

The apartment is in a great location right in the heart of the quaint part of Loja. Restaurants, panaderias, shopping, even a large supermarket are right there. The hosts speak excellent English. The apartment is very clean with good wifi & hot water. It comes with on-site, secure parking. The bedrooms have comfortable beds & huge windows with a wonderful view of the mountains. It’s quiet. The kitchen is adequately equipped. There is an elevator from both the parking & the street. An excellent location from which to enjoy Loja!

Very clean, family run hotel. Owner loved our story and spent a long time chatting and taking photos. Very pleasant 10 minutes walk along the river bank to the centre. Parking is a locked compound a few units up the hill. Motorcycles were very secure

The hotel just at the end of renovation. Very clean, everything new. Located very close to the city centre. We have found communication with hotel staff a bit difficult, as we don't speak Spanish, but but when finally understood, they fulfilled our requests.
