We were very comfortable at Runa Wasi. It is so nice to have a delicious dinner and breakfast included. While we ate dinner in the cosey dining room, one of the women went and started the fire in our room. It was very warm when we returned. The internet was great, and the shower, very hot. In the morning, staff called a taxi to get us from Quilotoa to Isinlivi for $30.
Situado em Quilotoa, o Quilotoa Green Lake oferece lounge compartilhado, jardim e Wi-Fi gratuito. A acomodação dispõe de recepção 24 horas, serviço de quarto e organização de passeios. The hosts are a local indigenous family and were extremely friendly (although they do not speak much English - which made us work on our Spanish). The breakfast was good and the dinner was excellent (and saved us wondering around the village after a long day hiking the Quilatoa crater rim. The room was small but accommodating. There was an electric heater in the room to take the chill off at night, but plenty of blankets made for a very comfortable sleep. The hosts kindly looked after our bags for part of the day between check out time and our bus departure. The property is right at the entrance to the village just off the main road, which is great for the local bus drop-off and pickup and only a 5 minute walk from the village centre.

Oferecendo um restaurante à la carte e um bar, o Hostal princesatoa está localizado em Quilotoa. O hotel oferece aluguel de bicicletas para passeios de bicicleta e pontos turísticos próximos. Good breakfast served by Klever, our wonderful host. He made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed.
Situado em Chugchilán, o Hostal el Vaquero oferece Wi-Fi gratuito e você pode desfrutar de um restaurante, academia e um bar. After a grueling day of hiking we were accommodated with a massage, a steam room, a dry sauna and a cold plunge. Supper was great and we shared out table with some other adventurers. The stories that were told over supper were amazing. I thought I was the adventurous one but I didn't hold a candle to some of the other guests.
O Hostal Miravalle Quilotoa dispõe de restaurante, bar, lounge compartilhado e jardim em Zumbagua. At first glance this hostal seems like it's still being built. But inside it's nice, my room was very clean, modern and comfortable and the manager is a very nice, friendly man, although he doesn't speak a word of English (fortunately I can speak reasonable Spanish). The location is on a hill about 10 minutes uphill walk from the town centre but that's actually a good thing, for 2 reasons: 1. There are great views of the surrounding mountains and countryside from the rooftop, and 2. It's much quieter there than staying in the town. From what I could hear from the town below, it's full of barking dogs at night and from early on the Saturday morning there was some non-stop talking blaring out of a loudspeaker, which lasted all morning and could be heard all over town, though only faintly from this hostal. One tip: if you're coming by bus from Latacunga it goes right past the hostal. It's on the right-hand side of the main road just after it takes a hairpin bend and starts to descend the hill towards Zumbahua. When you see the sign just call out for the driver to stop and that will save you a 10 minute uphill walk. Also, there's a decent, cheap restaurant straight across the road in another hostal so you won't have to walk to the town to have dinner or breakfast.
