Hotel Estonia was such a wonderful stay after and during a busy work trip. The rooms are beautiful, and the spa is phenomenal! I enjoyed the different sauna types and the cleanliness throughout. The staff was very polite and helpful. And the coffee and the tea with the kettle waiting in the room was a wonderful touch! Nothing like brewing a cup early in the morning or late in the day after a relaxing spa experience.

Hotel placed in the City centre. The building outside looks not such nice, but.... inside it is so nice and comfortable! We came a bit earlier than check-in time and we need to stay in hotel a bit longer than the check-out time, and it was not a problem for us after agreement with the administrator (I think this nice lady is also the owner), and she didn't ask any additional payment from us! Also we were alone these dates in a hotel, but nevertheless everything was clean, it was warm in the room (have to remark the winter time and enough cold outside) we had perfect breakfast and just felt like home!

Stay close to the old town if you enjoy walking. There are lots of information boards outside the historic buildings, full of interesting detail. Parnu Museum is worth a visit. We really enjoyed several restaurants and coffee shops. Try BarBara - delicious!

Pärnu is really nice and pretty place to visit. 2-3 days is good- then you have good time to see the city and visit the placies nearby you are interested. Extra points to many good restaurants :) Our best restaurant experience was in Lai tn 10. Renting bikes is good idea - you can reach many nice placies easily.

Great place for families with kids and everyone who likes calm, pretty and neat neighborhoods, gardens, parks and beaches. The restaurants are plenty and varied so everyone can find something to their taste. Not expensive. Many options of accommodation. Overall, I rate it as one of the best places I visited in terms of vacation with children. Children older than 5 yo will benefit the most. With our 1,5 yo we had more limited options there.

Oh what a nice town! Recommended for sure ! Fresh air and people are very kind. For lunch and coffee/pastries, Pagaripoisid at the bus station and Leivakas by the river 100% recommendation if you are looking for real Estonian food experience. All in all nice and compact town, you can walk or bike, everything is close. Reasonable prices, nice restaurants, shopping possibilities, beach, fishing, spa.

Pärnu is beautiful in the summer. An atmosphere of well-being, tranquility, and comfort reigns here. It's a very green city, and the beautiful grassy landscapes are a feast for the eyes. It's a great place to stroll, chat with friends and interesting people, and reflect. And, of course, to be by the sea. The sea and the shore are truly beautiful. The dunes are endless, clean, and well-maintained. The beach is well-equipped. There are numerous cafes, shops, and a sailing center. I'd recommend a hike along the protected trail, as well as a cape not far from the beach that extends far into the sea. This cape can be walked all the way to the end for daring travelers during the warmer months.

It is a small place to visit, unless you are here to sit on the beach in summer a couple of days is plenty to look around the town, walk through the parks and have a Spa day. I went to Viiking Spa Hotel for mine and thoroughly enjoyed my 3 hours.

Pärnu is great place to visit for few days or also longer takeoff. Many kind of activities (sports, culture) but also very nice parks, gardens, architecture or just walk on the beach. At least for Finns very easy reach by own car from Tallinn. Kind people.

It was our first time visiting the city. It left a very good impression, and we plan to return at some point for a longer holiday. The city has plenty of green spaces and parks. We really enjoyed the beach; the water was relatively warm, making it pleasant for swimming. The sea remains shallow for a long distance from the shore, making it very safe. The city's main street for entertainment and nightlife is located a bit away from the town center. This is a great arrangement, as it allows you to choose your accommodation based on your priorities—whether you prefer peace and quiet or nightlife (so it is worth choosing the location of your accommodation carefully).

In 2025 it is my fourth visit to Parnu, but first with aa night stay. Love this city and recommendation to visit it for everyone - first of all during the summer season or on golden autumn time. There are a lot of excellent restaurants in the town! Especially, restaurants "Room", "Villa Wesset", Tervis Paradiis hotel's restaurant, tavern type restaurant "Nikolai II" and many more. Have a boat trips, and go for a long slow walks in a Rand suburb which is famous with historical villas buildings.

Amazing beach. Good restaurants, but hard to get place outdoors and indoors don't have air-conditioning. The quality varies a lot! and you may not get what you ordered from the menu... happened to us in 4 different restaurants and they didn't even mention it, just brought different stuff... and when complained, didn't think it was a biggy. The city centre is closed from cars so be prepared to walk somewhat long distances. Not a problem if you have no disabilities. Lots of things to do for families with kids. Lively summer town, but not suitable for shopping. Mostly good weather and even if it rains, it's still warm. Places are open late which was positive.

Pärnu is old bathing centre, with wonderful historical buildings, and villas dating back from Jugend and Art Noveau periods. Our stay in Pärnu was in early August, yet the sea water temparatures were seasonally relatively low. There were few swimmers at the main beach, as the weather was windy with occasional showers of rain. But the landscape and seascape were marvellous and there is plenty to do also in the old town. The restaurant scene has much improved in the past years and there is reasonable variety available for both budget travellers and more high-end venues. Everything is reasonable near-by and walking or cycling around is practical.

Pärnu is major Estonian resort city. If it is hot day the Pärnu Beach, it the place to go. Beach has big female nudist area. Beach has good quality sand and long shallow bathing area. City has lot of big resort hotels with numerous Spa, health healing facilities and water centres. These hotels are close to the beach area. Beach area itself is well developed and has lot of villas and parks nearby. City itself has small town atmosphere and the centre is lovely with lot of restaurants and shopping opportunities. You can walk everywhere City is not overcrowded (except in hot summer days) and is good place to have a short 2–4-day holiday. City is popular among Finnish tourists. Try cafe “Supelsaksad” nice food and cakes, hotel “Tervise Paradiis” for kids water center, hotel “Estonia” and “Tervis” for medical facilities, hotel “Villa Ammende”, “Hedon” or “Wasa” for upscale Spa holiday. Pärnu has popular theatre “Endla” (only Estonian) and philharmonic concert hall (concerts and festivals year round). There are numerous sport facilities, good tennis grounds, excellent golf course is 20m drive from city center.

I found very good guy who does shiatsu massage in parnu (his small place is on this walking street, close to Vova restaurant) And I personally don't really like massage (I can't stand some stranger touching me 😬😬) but I really feel huge improvement of my back problems. One massage isn't enough, the best is 10, but Parnu is small city for me😆 so I stay 4-5 days there and try to do it every 3-4 months. Otherwise it's a city to rest and relax. But winter isn't good because of the weather. Summer is nicer.

Stay was to short, but good. Breakfast was very good, lots to eat and a great selection. Very, very quiet. We loved it. the facility was was fabulous. Hot bath, I could have stayed in there all day. Pool was very good. Long enough to do lengths, but deep enough to stand up when you get tired. We got there on the first snow storm. Walking outdoors was fabulous at night with the lights and all. Got some beautiful pics. What we liked the most it was so peaceful and quiet. The Tai massage was very, very good. We would recommend this place. We would love to see this place in the summer. Oh ya, shopping was great too, for the wife.

During restrictions time, especially in winter there is absolutely nothing to do in Pärnu. All places closed from 23.00 and the streets seem to be totally empty even hours before. But if you like just to walk and see then it is good.

Pärnu is lovely with lots of trees and green areas as well as old buildings on the seaside of the bridge. There are many restaurants, cafes and bars in Summer time, and plenty of activities for kids and adults. Not all places, especially hotels, have good vegan options yet. Also the sea brings a lot of humidity so drying laundry can be challenging and some buildings have mold problems. I definitely do not recommend staying in a wooden building if you have any sensitivity to mold. Pärnu beach is very long and shallow, making it safe for kids. The rest of the old town side is also otherwise safe, so I'd definitely recommend the destination to families or elderly people.

You should visit Viiking Spa. The beach is awesome, also the beach by Villa Andropoff (15 minutes by car). Visit the Geaorgian restaurant in the centre of the town. Avoid the "Mexican-pizza restaurant" Steffano. Just have a stroll in the old town and buy your linen from a local shop. If you travel with kids, the playgrounds are pretty good.

Clean and well maintained hotel close to the beach and Pärnu’s attractions. Parking space right in front of the entrance. Very friendly receptionists and we felt very welcome throughout our stay. Rooms were well equipped with integrated air conditioning and we had a good night sleep. Good breakfast! Highly recommend!

Nice, Comfortable historic hotel in the centre of Old Pärnu. Hotel restaurant is closed in winter, but there is good restaurant Edelweiss just other side of the street and few more close to.
