Honestly it was a bit unexpected. I had never been to a beach in an Arab country, but it was a very nice surprise. If you like scuba diving or snorkeling I believe this is a great place to go. It's not filled with resorts so that's really nice!

Tropitel oasis was an awful hotel which made my experience very bad. The all inclusive package was not all inclusive everything was with extra charge, food is not clean, rooms were not clean, staff was not helpful at all. I don't recommend tropitel oasis to anyone. The sea and beaxhes are amazing. If u like swimming u will adore Dahab there are nice hotels.. nice helping people. We didnt like the food in resturants. Dogs and cats every where ib the markets in the cafes in the resturants. Food is really bad. We suffered to find tasty food. I recommend to bring ur own food. eramj - Scored 1010

Dahab is a gorgeous coastal town not very popular with English tourists, which is nice for those looking to escape Brits abroad! But almost everyone spoke English and menus in restaurants were also in English with plenty of options. However, alcohol can only be purchased at the hotel and liquor stores not in restaurants, but they don't mind you bringing your own! The town felt safe and clean and the beaches and coral reefs were amazing. We got in and out of town via taxi which was easy to do through the hotel we stayed in and cheap. This felt like a true escape. The local people are some of the kindest and friendliest I have met. My partner, female, who was nervous to travel to this country, had a lovely time. She felt she could wear what she wanted and was treated with courtesy and respect, even more so than she experiences in England. The weather is hot and can be guaranteed. You can take part in almost any water sport and snorkelling and scuba diving as well as glass bottom boat trips if swimming is not for you. If you want a hot, relaxing holiday with plenty of activities Dahab is the place for you.

Slightly out of Dahab town which suited our needs. Walkable or a short taxi ride to get to the centre. When the wind dropped the snorkelling from the beach in front of the hotel was spectacular. Can't recommend strongly enough. We extended our stay several times it was so good!
