Asmara is a beautiful city full of warmth and positive energy. The locals are extremely friendly and welcoming. The city is full of Italian style art deco architecture that takes you back in time and gives the city great charm. Asmara streets are wide and flat and the weather is beautiful making it a walking friendly site where you can easily and freely explore the city. Beautiful markets, especially the Medebar market where everything is recycled and resold, were a very interesting experience. Visiting different neighborhoods was a delight. The city is extremely safe and clean. I can't wait for my next trip where I will definitely stay longer.
