It is in a very quiet location, just the birds and the cow bells. It had been a long trip from Portugal getting there, so we stayed two nights to recover. Breakfast was freshly served and we could sit inside or out under their veranda. The restaurants are mainly in Zarautz about 15minutes away. They typically open late in the evening, after 8pm. The first night we found a tapas type bar, which was Ok The second night we went on the owners recommendation to Telesforo, restaurant which she booked for us, and it was superb.

This place is really something else. Between nature, national parks, beaches and a house full of energy, amazing stuff and overall fantastic vibes. I went to so many hostels but nowhere I felt like home immediately. Food was always amazing, thanks to chef Ivan and all the staff created just everyday high up vibes that made you feel part of something directly. If ur keen for some fun time at a surf house that’s def the place to go. You’ll def create some crazy memories and friendships for life +the town of Aia is one of the cutest places on earth def worth going for a stroll

Thalasso was excellent. Proximity to the beautiful beach Friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Parking on site. Clean room and super comfy bed.

The whole place was decorated so beautifully, and you can see how much love and heart these guys put into that hotel. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had everything we needed.
