Finca Esencial is a beautifully renovated property right on the Camino de Santiago that has thought of every possible detail to provide a most pleasant experience, beautiful rooms that feature both the properties stone walls and wooden windows combined with state of the area bathrooms and amenities. Views of the countryside and vineyards can be appreciated in every room. Roland and Raquel are a gem, perfect hosts of the upmost kindness, while doing the Camino we experienced a knee issue that prevented us from arriving on foot like originally planned, Roland picked us up from the nearby town and also helped us get closer to town for our meals. And the breakfast was delicious. Thank you Roland and Raquel for giving us such a wonderful experience that will become cherished memories.

Excellent location. Right on the Camino. Food and drink nearby. Quiet. Clean. The room felt very spacious, and there was a deck outside with tables and chairs that you could sit on. Beds were very comfortable in the personal care products were of high-quality.

How can one describe in words a magical, beautiful heaven, attention to the little details, perfection? Petra, the wonderful owner, built this place with love, talent, and attention to every element. The feeling is like being hosted at a friend's wonderful house. The room is beautiful and modern, the facility is perfect, the breakfast is at the highest level, and so is dinner. All cooked by Petra. The bed and linens were perfect as well. We planned of staying one night, but 5 minutes after checking in we changed our trip plans and stayed another night. We can't wait to return

We really enjoyed our stay in super Casa Lixa - it really exceeded our expectations! The place is spotlessly clean and the staff Rosi and Sergio went out of their way to make us feel good! There is a great range of food to pick among and they also have lovely wine! The rooms were spacious and airy and we got the luck of having a room with a balcony overlooking the gorgeous and relaxing river! We really enjoyed our stay in las Herrerias and staying at this place is a must to have a good rest and continue the Camino! We highly recommend it- we went with bikes and there was a very secure cottage to leave the bikes. All in all a super stay and we would definitely come back!
